Former ESPN on-air personality Adrienne Lawrence filed a federal lawsuit in Connecticut this week against the World Leader in (Liberal) Sports that describes a disturbing culture of sexual harassment and discrimination. Lawrence’s attorneys, Brian Cohen and Russell Yankwitt, filed the suit portraying ESPN as a “company rife with misogyny.”

Yesterday, as Sports Illustrated and others reported, ESPN fired two suspended employees for allegedly engaging in sexual harassment during their previous employment at the NFL Network. How ironic and how hypocritical is that? ESPN is also facing a sexual harassment lawsuit for allowing what its accuser, Adrienne Lawrence, charges is a hostile work environment for women.

In the dream world of ESPN's Max Kellerman, presidential scandal began in Richard Nixon's time and resumed in Donald Trump's. On the First Take program which he co-hosts, Kellerman listed several criticisms of the Trump Administration which he hopes will discourage the 2017 World Series champion Houston Astros from celebrating their title at the Trump White House.

Discussing the "bizarre" year of sports in 2017, ESPN's Bob Ley and Jeremy Schaap defied belief by insisting they are really trying to stick to sports. During The Sporting Life program on ESPN Radio, Ley recognized a national fatigue with the politicization of sports, but he and his colleague both cited liberal intrusions into sports as their personal highlights for the year.
