After seven seasons, ABC’s Scandal has finally aired its last episode. Over the course of 124 episodes, the Shonda Rhimes-produced series has pretty much covered every aspect of the liberal agenda. However, as the finale proves, there’s always time to squeeze in a little more, especially when it comes to knocking white male privilege and promoting gun control. I guess it’s better to go out with…

As ‘Scandal’ Comes to a Close, ABC Show Continues to Mock Values

Culture
April 19th, 2018 3:21 PM
ABC’s Scandal will be finished at the end of its seventh season. Here’s hoping the door doesn’t hit this morally bankrupt ABC trash on the way out. Many Americans will remember the show for its flagrant pushing of the envelope when it came to excoriating conservative principles, and pushing moral themes that were, at the very least, avant-garde. Still, what can you expect from a TV show named…

Yes, it's happening again for the third time this week: ABC’s Designated Survivor joined the growing number of shows focusing on ousting a president from office. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a trend. The April 18 episode “Kirkman Agonistes” follows the public leak of audio notes from President Tom Kirkman’s (Kiefer Sutherland) private therapy sessions after the death of his wife. Because…

The communist government of Cuba held their sham election for a new leader on Wednesday after President Raul Castro stepped down to make way for Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel to take the reins. The news of the transition broke early that morning, but both ABC and NBC appeared too lazy to even give it a simple brief on their morning and evening broadcasts. CBS and Spanish-language networks…

While token View conservative Meghan McCain on Wednesday attacked James Comey as a greedy attention seeker, fellow co-host Sunny Hostin cheered the “unassailable” ex-FBI Director as a paragon of integrity. Hostin prefaced her question by fawning: “And I have said this on the show before, when I was with the Justice Department —  and I think it continues —  your character was unassailable, and I…

On CBS This Morning, journalist Bob Schieffer called the former First Lady the “enforcer.” What none of the networks noted in their tributes is that Mrs. Bush wouldn’t hesitate to bluntly call out liberal media bias when she saw it.

Bozell & Graham Column: Comey's Pocket-Stuffers in the Press

April 17th, 2018 11:10 PM
The definition of “news” is very elastic these days. Another word we could use is “publicity.” When James Comey’s publisher MacMillan boasts that they will kill enough trees to print 850,000 copies – when a decent fraction of sales is in E-books and audiobooks – publicity is clearly booming. The “news” media are stuffing Comey’s pockets with book profits.
