Adding another arrow to her quiver of crazy, radical feminist commentator and occasional New York Times columnist Jill Filipovic took to social media to disparage most of the remaining Democratic presidential field. No, not because they embody some of the worst values in human history, but because each of their skin tones is white and they each have male genitalia.
In exercising projection, CNN’s so-called “Reliable Sources” sought to decry President Trump’s “imperial presidency” on Sunday by emphasizing how there was no such thing as “right-wing media” vs. “liberal-media,” but, in fact, it was a “propaganda apparatus” vs. a “media apparatus.” Yes, it was the same show that said Trump had killed more people than Hitler, Stalin, and Mao combined, claimed the “future of the Earth” hung on Trump’s removal from office, and insisted Trump was a “destructive cult” leader.
You pro-lifers say you care about the lives of unborn babies. You may even believe that’s what you care about. But you’re not fooling Guardian writer Jill Filipovic. She knows what you really care about is oppressing women. That’s your “goal.” The only appropriate response required is, “Jill, you’re a malicious idiot.” But let’s look at her assertions anyway. Like all her friends, Flipovic is convinced that pro-life activism is actually a twisted facade to cover up the fact that it’s actually about “misogyny.”
For the media, particularly its rabid feminist cohort, Alabama’s near-total abortion ban on May 15 is a major step towards the death of democracy. In the eyes of rabid New York Times Feminist columnists like Jill Filipovic, forcing a woman to complete their pregnancy is an painful imposition, one that should require equal payment on the part of men: that is, having “a half inch cut off from your penis with every [pregnancy.]”
Feminist Jill Filipovic usually draws notice by fervently promoting abortion. So it was strange that she came out hard against the death penalty in a CNN.com op-ed on Wednesday. The headline was "This Supreme Court ruling is exceptionally cruel." Convicted murderer Russell Bucklew is being executed by lethal injection in Missouri, which would be quite painful and drawn-out. (Many would ask the leftists if a firing squad would fit. Bucklew's lawyers suggested it.)
If Americans can see men like Sen. McCain as both hero and villain, then the same standard should apply to women like Stormy Daniels – or so argues one New York Times opinion writer. The New York Times published an opinion piece Aug. 24 that heralded Stormy Daniels as a “Feminist Hero.” In the story and subsequently on MSNBC, CNN and Cosmopolitan columnist Jill Filipovic credited Daniels’ for an “unanticipated feminist turning point” after the president’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, said he paid Daniels (or Stephanie Clifford) at Trump’s request.
As part of the media’s hysterical reaction after Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement from the Supreme Court on Wednesday, Time magazine gave ardent feminist Jill Filipovic a platform to warn about the many perils America would face if the Roe v. Wade decision on abortion is overturned.
Cosmopolitan is all for praising women who use their power to make a difference, unless those women meet with someone it doesn’t like. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian encountered backlash from the magazine after her recent meeting with President Donald Trump about prison reform. On May 31, contributing writer Jill Filipovic called the meeting “sad” and “dangerous.” Cosmo’s headline agreed that Americans “Should Be Offended by Her White House Visit.
NBCNews.com has a website called “Think” that offers “Hot Takes” – none hotter than radical feminist Jill Filipovic trying to use the Chappaquiddick movie to slime the Republicans. Her headline was “Since Chappaquiddick, Democrats' views of women have evolved. Republicans' still need to. The new movie about the Ted Kennedy's involvement in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne highlights the progress women have made in the Democratic party”. She shamelessly concluded the movie pours shame on Republicans.
The most ridiculous spin exercise emerging from the Matt Lauer/Charlie Rose scandal is that somehow this is why Hillary Clinton lost, the lecherous male journalists beat her. The New York Times – the same newspaper that publicly devoted itself to electing Hillary Clinton on the front page – turned to feminist writer Jill Filipovic for an editorial on how sexist media bias is to blame for Hillary’s loss. “The latest harassment and assault allegations complicate that account and suggest that perhaps many of the high-profile media men covering Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Trump were the ones leading with their genitals.”
This week the media drooled over Hillary Clinton calling Donald Trump a “creep” in an audio excerpt from her upcoming memoir, where she was referring to Trump standing closely behind her during a presidential debate. While most of the media wondered if Clinton would’ve been better served if she had called Trump a “creep” in that moment, one feminist writer went so far as to say the incident was a classic case of sexual harassment, and that the media and voters stood by and ignored the victim---Clinton.
On many college campuses, free speech comes with the caveat: say what you want, as long as it doesn’t offend the liberal majority. And if it does, you can expect virulent protests in return, such as the riot that led to the injury of a professor at Middlebury College when social scientist Charles Murray was slated to speak.
