To all the NFL fans who booed social justice activists during the weekend's season openers, you are racists and just like racists of the distant past, too. In fact, Deadspin race-baiter Rob Parker says, "fans being racist is nothing new," and a disgrace to be expected.

CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus gave his NFL broadcast teams a crystal clear ultimatum prior to Sunday's games: no one was to interject personal opinions on Black Lives Matter, kneeling or social justice during the day's broadcasts. Yeah, a ratings bath like the one incurred by the league in Thursday's game will do that!

During the NFL's Thursday night season opener, fans at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium and the television viewers at home made it clear they are not cool with athlete activism in the workplace. Over the past several days, the media have been displaying a classic example of their double standard in which police shooting stories receive attention. If it bolsters the liberal narrative that police violence is motivated by racism, it is much more likely to receive attention than if a questionable case of police violence involves a white victim.

On Friday, ESPN’s headline debate show, First Take, was ready to sit up and take notice of the social justice drama that took place during Thursday Night Football’s pre-game. Unsurprisingly, the primary topic of the conversation was about the apparent booing that took place during the moment of silence for social justice.

Taking a page out of today’s headlines, the CW’s Coroner aired an episode on September 9 titled “Confetti Heart” that focused on a white cop shooting and killing an unarmed black man. To hear the protesters in the Black Lives Matter movement, this sort of thing happens every day in America. Here we go again. The Philadelphia Eagles signed a 41-year-old player to come out of retirement and play on their practice squad and Deadspin's Rob Parker is doing the "What about Kaepernick?" howl. Kaep is 10 times better than Josh McCown and he should have gotten the job as Eagles emergency quarterback, Parker moans.

Racist police harassing, attacking and almost killing innocent young men? Armed officers instigating peaceful protesters until it turns into a riot? A world so systematically racist that nobody from one particular race can ever rise up the social stratum?
