While covering Republican efforts to reform the tax system and the health care industry, on Monday’s CBS This Morning, correspondent Major Garrett turned to Democrats to tear down both GOP agenda items, claiming the Trump administration tax plan was “angling to benefit the wealthy” and that the President “caved to conservatives” by maintaining his opposition to ObamaCare subsidies.

In a softball interview with comedian turned liberal activist Jimmy Kimmel for Thursday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer touted how the ABC late-night host “has found himself in the headlines for his unexpected role in the health care debate.”  

Apparently, John Garamendi, a California Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, either doesn’t know or doesn’t care about the term ad hominem, which means attacking someone directly instead of venting criticism at that person’s position on an issue. And, even worse, apparently a key member of the liberal media didn't know it when he saw it.

On Friday and over the weekend, ABC, CBS and NBC reacted with their typical anti-Trump fervor to the President’s decision to end federal subsidies of insurance companies through ObamaCare, but only a meager portion of broadcast news coverage — barely three percent — tipped viewers off to the fact those payments were unconstitutional in the first place.

On Friday night and Saturday morning, ABC and NBC turned to supposedly ordinary Americans to attack President Trump’s decision to end the unlawful ObamaCare subsidies. Friday morning, ABC’s Good Morning America rewarded it’s newly lauded national treasure, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel with a fawning interview, applauding his liberal activism on health care and gun control. Not only that, but news reader Amy Robach stayed silent as Kimmel pummelled the Trump family with gay jokes and nasty insults, along with his critics, whom he glowingly called “gun nuts.”
