In Tuesday’s edition of CNN debasing itself, CNN.com flaunted Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Emma González surpassing Dana Loesch and the NRA in Twitter followers thanks to their criticism-free coverage of Parkland students who survived the horrifying February 14 shooting.

Given how strongly journalists have used the Parkland shooting to promote gun control, it’s surprising to see a simple realization of how the current debate sounds to half the country. That observation occurred on Tuesday’s CBS This Morning as co-host John Dickerson mentioned his own relatives. 

NPR couldn't be bothered to include pro-gun rights talking heads in their Monday coverage of boycotts targeting the National Rifle Association and gun manufacturers. Host Andrea Mitchell took a radically different tone with each interviewee – both of whom are seeking statewide elected office in 2018 – thus epitomizing MSNBC’s inescapable liberal bias. 

Jeremy Barr at The Hollywood Reporter asked CNN president Jeff Zucker and their “town hall” moderator Jake Tapper about critics of their “Students Demand Action” program on February 21. Zucker said it’s insulting and “silly” to cite the program as liberal or partisan. Tapper said critics will “get over it,” but “the people in that stadium, they won’t.”
