During Monday's edition of New Day, CNN's Chief Business Correspondent Christine Romans gleefully reported that several companies have severed their ties with the National Rifle Association in the wake of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida earlier this month.

According to the journalists on CBS This Morning, Monday, companies must target the NRA in the wake of the Parkland shooting. They also have to respond to the President’s Muslim ban, global warming and other issues that, coincidentally, call for liberal solutions. All of this is necessary to pacify millennials. 

Washington Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan is tweeting out her latest column with this copy: "Why is the NRA attacking the reality-based press? For the same reason Trump does."
