On Friday, CNN sent out an alert for an article suggesting Americans are murderers and are responsible for the death of a woman killed in a flood. Why? Because Americans contribute to climate change. This misuse of alerts normally reserved for actual news is nothing new. CNN now promotes propaganda via mobile alerts on a regular basis.

He’s the gift that keeps on giving, folks. On Saturday night and Tuesday afternoon, legendary liar Dan Rather declared that President Trump and Attorney General Sessions “can’t handle the truth” while both the Russia investigation and the administration’s positions on climate change mark arguably the biggest scandals in American history.

All three networks on Tuesday worried about Donald Trump’s “lack of curiosity” in the wake of a “startling” new climate change report. Former Vice President-turned-climate change activist Al Gore was given another opportunity by CNN this weekend to shame skeptics of his climate change propaganda as backwards bigots. Just last week when the network hosted a town hall with Gore, where he compared the fight against climate change to a matter of “right and wrong,” much like the Civil Rights Movement.

The ex-Vice President is promoting his new climate change sequel and endured this softball from CBS’s Charlie Rose: “So, tell me, in ten years, what has changed that alarms you?” 

There’s hypocrisy. Then there’s former Vice President Al Gore. For him, it’s like a superpower. Gore was the headliner for CNN’s “global town hall event” called “THE CLIMATE CRISIS.” It included moderator Anderson Cooper, Al Gore and questioners from the audience. The actual town hall took place in New York City, according to a CNN spokesperson.
