With flood waters barely beginning to recede, CBS Evening News ran a segment on Wednesday blaming climate change and the construction of Houston for the high level of destruction from Hurricane Harvey. “So why was Harvey so devastating to Houston? Some experts tell us the Gulf of Mexico is as much as seven degrees warmer than average,” announced Co-Anchor Demarco Morgan from Houston.

Tuesday's All Things Considered on NPR aired two segments that took shots at President Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz's handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Both reports featured talking heads from liberal organizations, but didn't explicitly mention their ideological stance. By contast, the segments clearly identified specific individual and groups as "conservative."

While there have been only a smattering of climate change references since Hurricane Harvey took over news cycles, CNN and MSNBC featured more shameful exploitations of the hurricane on Monday to promote climate change as thousands were in need of help from rising flood waters.

On Saturday, climate change again became a source of blame for Hurricane Harvey and its path of destruction along the Texas coastline as it moved inland where it has since dropped biblical-like amounts of flooding in the Houston area.
