Despite early election predictions in Israel  late Tuesday ranging from a split vote to a slim victory for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews showed his disdain for both Netanyahu and President Trump, suggesting the President’s policy moves (directly and indirectly) related to the Middle East were solely to exercise improper influence on the election.

In a softball exchange with Chelsea Clinton on his Monday night show, aired early Tuesday morning, NBC’s Late Night host Seth Meyers agreed with her assessment that President Trump has achieved “new levels of cruelty” with his policies. He went on to sympathize with Clinton that Fox News still has an “obsession” with her political family.

During an interview with NBC’s Maria Shriver aired on Tuesday’s Today show, left-wing comedian Chelsea Handler promoted her new book about undergoing a year of therapy following the election of Donald Trump in 2016. Doubling down on her remarks to HBO’s Bill Maher over the weekend, Handler described the “mid-life crisis” she suffered after the President defeated Hillary Clinton.

On Sunday's Up with David Gura on MSNBC, during a panel discussion of President Donald Trump criticizing U.S. immigration policy during a speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition, host Gura invited Lynn Sweet -- Washington bureau chief of the Chicago Sun-Times -- to complain about Jews who have responded favorably to Trump's rhetoric that was earlier in the segment likened to Nazi Germany.

On Monday, all three network morning shows reveled in Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announcing her resignation with relieved reporting about her “tumultuous tenure” at the department being over and touting Democrats blasting the Trump cabinet official. Despite interviews earlier in the week with two women accusing Virginia’s Democratic Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax of sexual assault, on Thursday, CBS This Morning worried that holding a public hearing on allegations would “just be a political stunt” by state Republicans. On Wednesday's Full Frontal show on TBS, late-night "comedian" Samantha Bee began what is allegedly a comedy show by railing against recent efforts to curtail abortion, including both the passage of heartbeat laws to protect unborn babies, and the recently released film Unplanned recounting a former Planned Parenthood employee who turned pro-life.
