To follow-up on the adulterous priest (which still continues by the way), Friday night’s episode of Fox's The Exorcist delivers yet another awful depiction of religious figures. This time, it is a nun who must be demeaned as she actually suggests “mercy killing” as an option.

Occasionally, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews flashes a pillar of his Catholic upbringing and Monday night was one such instance as he pressed New York Times reporter Yamiche Alcindor on whether or not she has any pro-life co-workers at the liberal paper after she laughed at the idea of liberal media bias. 

On Friday morning, Fox host Brit Hume tweeted about the John Podesta emails hacked by WikiLeaks: “I never imagined you could do a puff piece about Podesta's emails, but @washingtonpost has done it.” The Post turned to left-wing Style writer Dan Zak to take a light approach. The editorial in today's New York Times, "Victims of Priests' Abuse Face a Choice," must be challenged on several counts. Its principal focus is the new initiative by the Archdiocese of New York, the Independent Reconciliation and Compensation Program. This program is designed to deal fairly with claims of clergy sexual abuse.
