Worried WashPost: ‘Calls Grow’ for Biden to Talk Tara Reade
April 29th, 2020 12:54 PM
The Washington Post may be getting worried. As Joe Biden’s personal silence on Tara Reade (and her sexual assault accusation against the presumptive nominee) continues, the Post's coverage has taken a turn towards fretting. The paper bumped the story up from page A-22 in Tuesday’s print paper to the front page on Wednesday.
NY Cardinal Dolan ‘Salutes’ Trump's Pandemic 'Leadership'
Culture
April 29th, 2020 12:03 PM
New York's Cardinal Dolan seems to think that President Trump is doing a good job at leading the country through the coronavirus crisis, and though we know there are many Catholics who would never do such a thing (the Obama-voting ones, we’re sure) Dolan also praised the pro-life and pro-religious freedom President for his outreach to religious communities during his administration.

Like 2016? Psychic Scarborough: 'After Trump Loses This Fall ... '
April 29th, 2020 9:33 AM
Turn out the lights, the election's over, and Trump has lost! So says Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe. He repeatedly rips as "idiots" Republicans who favor a faster re-opening of the country, and ultimately says: "These conserv -- not conservatives, they're idiots. These Trumpists who think that they're finding a way forward politically by attacking stay-at-home orders, they're the 10%, they're…

Ignoring Rape Claim Against Biden, ABC/CBS Cheer Hillary’s Endorsement
April 28th, 2020 8:46 PM
It was one of the most predictable developments on the Democratic side of the 2020 presidential election: two-time presidential flunky Hillary Clinton endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden. But that didn’t stop ABC’s World News Tonight from fangirling Tuesday and declaring it “another big milestone” for the campaign. At the same time, ABC News and CBS Evening News continued their blackout of…

Politico Retracts Its Fake Bank of China Story, Will Biden Follow?
April 28th, 2020 3:02 PM
To their credit, minutes before the end of Monday, Politico retracted its Friday faceplant of a story about Trump “owing tens of millions” to the Bank of China. It was a case of Fake News. But Biden was still pushing this garbage in a TV interview on Monday to defend against his son's business dealings in China.

Captain Obvious: WashPost Admits Biden ‘Yet to Be Asked’ About Reade
April 28th, 2020 12:05 PM
The Washington Post on Tuesday buried the latest on the growing controversy swirling around Joe Biden and a sex abuse claim. The paper demoted the story in the print edition to page A-22. The headline looks like a variation of the old “Republicans pounce” take. It read, “Biden critics point to news about assault claim.” Another way of making this story really boring could be found in the Twitter…

CBS Touts Biden’s VP Short List, Skips Sexual Abuse Allegations
April 27th, 2020 12:32 PM
On Sunday evening, CBS Weekend News marked one year since Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign. Rather use the occasion to hold the presumptive Democratic nominee accountable for sexual abuse allegations leveled against him by former Senate staffer Tara Reade, the broadcast instead focused on touting Biden’s all-female short list of vice presidential picks.

ABC Hypes Trump's 2020 Chances Getting 'Decimated by This Coronavirus'
April 26th, 2020 5:18 PM
While they are rightly spending a lot of time covering the coronavirus crisis, the media were still political entities. ABC proved that fact during Sunday’s This Week when three of their journalists (chief anchor George Stephanopoulos, chief White House correspondent Jon Karl, and senior congressional correspondent Mary Bruce) hyped how President Trump’s campaign messaging took a massive hit and…

CBS Feels Pain for Latinos on Virus, But Skips Scary Poll for Biden
April 24th, 2020 11:32 PM
CBS Evening News and CBS This Morning each ran an Adriana Diaz story underlining that Latinos are suffering from the coronavirus in greater proportions, and she ended by feeling the pain of “undocumented” immigrants who can’t access federal money. But neither program reported what CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe wrote up online: Joe Biden’s support is soft among Latino voters, with only 49 percent saying…

Despite Media Silence, Biden Assault Allegation Gaining Traction
Culture
April 24th, 2020 7:31 PM
As Joe Biden marches, or rather slow crawls, to the Democratic presidential nomination, more and more #MeToo activists are finding it quite hard to ignore his sexual assault allegation and history of inappropriate touching. The only question is, why haven’t the mainstream media been as invested in these earnest women, as they were when Brett Kavanaugh was under fire?
Krugman Revives ‘Zombie’ Headline to Woke-Scold McConnell on Gov’t Aid
Business
April 24th, 2020 4:25 PM
Liberal New York Times economist Paul Krugman needed to dip into the graveyard of famous newspaper headlines to spit childish hyperbole at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Krugman went #PeakWoke at McConnell’s suggestion that states should file for bankruptcy. Ironic that the guy who wrote the Keynesian book “Arguing with Zombies: Economic, Politics, and the Fight for a Better…

The hosts of The View are doing their best to prop up Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, even offering him free advice and future media appearances on their show. After Joy Behar confidently claimed Biden could disappear and still win the election, she had a change of heart on Friday’s show, saying that he needed more media air time to counteract Trump’s “bloviating.” Each host fawned over the “…
