WashPost TV Critic Mocks Duggar Family and Fans As 'Learning Disabled'
November 1st, 2014 3:34 PM
The programmers at the cable channel TLC have often promoted the Duggar family as strangely, exotically Christian – just as much of a curiosity as the polygamous family of “Sister Wives.”
On Friday, The Washington Post published segments of an online chat with their TV critic Hank Stuever, where he brought out the verbal bat and suggested TLC treats Duggar-family fans as “learning disabled” –…

Bill Donahue of the Catholic League ripped NBC host Seth Meyers for his mocking of the Catholic sacrament of the Eucharist on the early Tuesday edition of Late Night. October 28th, 2014 10:23 PM
HBO Real Time host Bill Maher, a self-proclaimed atheist, is often viewed as controversial among conservatives. Recently, however, it’s not conservatives who are up in arms over Maher’s latest comments. Instead, it's one of the most liberal colleges in the country – the University of California, Berkeley.
Maher is expected to speak at a graduation ceremony at Berkeley in December. It is this…

Novelist: Jon Stewart Should Explain How 'Archaic' Religion Harms Us
October 18th, 2014 12:55 PM
The secular progressives deeply love Jon Stewart. The proof came again in last Sunday's New York Times Book Review, in which best-selling novelist Jodi Picoult was asked "What’s the one book you wish someone else would write?"
She picked Stewart to write a book on how America is unfortunately tangled in "archaic" religious ideologies that prevent the nirvana that is liberalism:
Bozell & Graham Column: CBS Drives Away 'Anti-Gay' Catholics
October 18th, 2014 9:08 AM
While the cultural commissars keep throwing praise and awards at raunchy shows on trendy Internet streaming channels, CBS has a series of highly-rated traditional police or military shows that get no attention or respect. “NCIS” keeps spinning off shows – this year in New Orleans – and “Blue Bloods” is a consistent Top 20 performer despite airing on Friday night. You won’t see its star Tom…

October 16th, 2014 1:22 PM
Houston’s attack on the religious liberty of five pastors created a nationwide uproar among conservatives. And not one second of attention from the broadcast news outlets.

The Houston Chronicle reports that the city's liberal Democratic mayor, Annise Parker, has spearheaded efforts by the city to subpoena sermons from local churches whose ministers have been critical of the city's new "equal rights" ordinance. On October 12, the Sunday edition of The Washington Post reported their “Election Lab” estimate that the Republicans will win six more seats in the House and eight more Senate seats, and projected it was 95 percent certain that Democrats will lose the Senate.
For his part, NBC's Chuck Todd was firmly, stubbornly persistent in the usual Republicans-in-deep-doodoo narrative about social issues.

October 13th, 2014 4:26 PM
While many reporters are giddy as schoolgirls over a document released by the Vatican regarding how to appropriately welcome homosexuals in the life of the Catholic Church, Time magazine religion reporter Elizabeth Dias has a good word of rebuke for her colleagues. "Looking for revolution can be misleading. It can mar the actual story of what is and what is not happening," Dias concludes.
Sex Abuse Allegations Against TV Star Smeared on the Christian Right
October 11th, 2014 11:00 PM
On Friday’s edition of “The View,” both Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell expressed great surprise and horror at the reports from a nasty divorce that actor Stephen Collins admitted sexually abusing young girls.
This should be added to the growing list of scandals over sex abuse in liberal Hollywood. But at The Daily Beast, uber-feminist writer Amanda Marcotte tried to smear this dark new…
Gay NY Times Columnist Rants Against the Catholic 'Gay Obsession'
October 6th, 2014 11:54 AM
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. The gay-obsessed New York Times is letting a gay columnist whack away at the Catholic church as having a “gay obsession.” No one obsesses about the gays as much as the gays, but you are only allowed to be “obsessed” if it’s relentlessly, propagandistically positive.
Openly gay columnist Frank Bruni calls it “persecution” for Catholic schools to…

Friday’s CBS Evening News w/ Scott Pelley actually reported on the rise of anti-Semitism in Germany primarily caused by Muslims immigrating into the country. Anchor Scott Pelley highlighted how “tonight, armed guards have been posted at synagogues throughout Germany for the start of Yom…
