Scores of people on the left and right who are worthy of media censure. Yet, while many media outlets eviscerate Steve Bannon, people like gay activist and writer Dan Savage tend to get a pass. And rather than being called out for his vitriolic and lewd statements, Savage routinely serves as a guest on CNN and MSNBC broadcasts. 

To follow-up on the adulterous priest (which still continues by the way), Friday night’s episode of Fox's The Exorcist delivers yet another awful depiction of religious figures. This time, it is a nun who must be demeaned as she actually suggests “mercy killing” as an option.

Fox's show The Exorcist is much like its film predecessor in taking delight in how outrageously shocking it can go. Unfortunately, the exploits in an R-rated movie are apparently now suitable for a primetime television series. In this case, they spread out the story of a possessed girl over a full season with more conflicts from the priests and more gruesome demonic possession.
