In the aftermath of California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom declaring that he will push to get gun makers sued by using a similar principle used in Texas to fight abortion providers, CNN and MSNBC both cheered his efforts at making a rhetorical point against Republicans as well as his anti-gun efforts.

After pleading with California governor Gavin Newsom to run for president, his fans at ABC’s The View were already acting like they worked for his campaign, Monday. The liberal hosts were excited by Newsom’s newest attack on the Second Amendment, a gun control law that would allow private citizens to sue gun manufacturers and sellers, in response to Texas’s abortion law.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is trying to one up Texas by making an anti-gun law that is modeled after their SB8 law, which bans elective abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected. He wants to allow private citizens in California to sue anyone selling or manufacturing "assault weapons."

This week, the national Hispanic networks made a point to let their (mostly conservative) audiences know just how fantastic the prospect of California becoming the nation's abortion sanctuary would be, especially as poor Latinas in, say, Texas, wouldn't have the money to pay for a 26-week abortion they can't get in their state.

In the aftermath of the shootings at Oxford High School in Michigan, CNN again showed how much of a partisan Democrat network it has become as host Anderson Cooper not only promoted Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) in a hyped attack on Republicans, but, in the same show, spent more than four minutes trying to undermine Dr. Mehmet Oz as a possible Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

In the aftermath of Democratic Senator Chris Murphy putting on the spectacle of accusing Republicans of hypocrisy in response to the school shooting in Michigan, several MSNBC hosts seized on the speech and used it to peddle anti-gun misinformation. In primetime, Chris Hayes and Joy Reid even had the Connecticut Senator on as a guest.

Adam Liptak, Supreme Court reporter for the New York Times, sent up a warning flare for the right-leaning Supreme Court: Don’t mess with Roe v. Wade. His Sunday analysis, “As Roe Teeters, Belief in Court Could Tilt, Too” suggested court’s credibility was (conveniently) at stake. The online headline: "Critical Moment for Roe, and the Supreme Court’s Legitimacy."

MSNBC has become so unhinged over state laws challenging Roe, they are actually trying to convince their audiences that the pro-life side is racist and founded on white supremacy, when it should be common knowledge that the largest abortion provider in the country was founded by a racist eugenicist white woman.

Despite all the talk on MSNBC about norms and institutions, Brian Williams used Friday's edition of The 11th Hour to criticize Democrats for talking tough, but not having the "guts" to "pack or alter" the Supreme Court in light on the Court hearing oral arguments on Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization earlier in the week.

Scratch a liberal and find an authoritarian. The latest evidence of this has come as the Mississippi abortion law reaches the Supreme Court. And right on cue, the lefty media types quickly stood up with anti-democracy rants.
