It’s been 273 days since Hillary Clinton last held a press conference and even some on MSNBC are starting to lose patience with Clinton’s antics that even-keeled legal correspondent Ari Melber flipped out during Thursday’s Hardball on EMILY’s List president Stephanie Schriock for the shameless talking point that Clinton “talk[s] to the press all the time.”

Despite a total of four hours of air time, NBC’s Today on Friday completely skipped the latest development in the ongoing scandal involving the Clinton Foundation, Hillary Clinton and the State Department. A Washington Post headline on Wednesday raised eyebrows and led to some TV reporting. The headline was “A record number of Americans now dislike Hillary Clinton.” It wasn’t in Wednesday morning’s paper, so expect it on Thursday, right? Wrong. The Post front page had a story on fossils in Greenland, but no story for the fossils who love the print edition on Mrs. Clinton's unpopularity.

Earlier this week, I publicly challenged Jorge Ramos to a debate about what the proper role is of journalists in our free society. Ramos hasn’t responded. That is because he knows that his violation of journalistic standards is flat out indefensible.  

During her MSNBC show on Thursday, host Andrea Mitchell gleefully cheered Joe Biden campaigning for Hillary Clinton in Ohio: “...this is classic Joe Biden, this is Joe from Scranton, talking about all of those working class blue-collar labor towns that you know well in Pennsylvania and Ohio and this is the heart and soul of the Democratic strategy in the rust belt.”
