MSNBC’s Chris Matthews moans: “This is a different Earth today than it was 24 hours ago.” CNN’s Van Jones declares Trump’s victory was a “white-lash” against Barack Obama and New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman compares Trump’s victory to 9/11.   

Model Gigi Hadid and Saturday Night Live alum Jay Pharoah hosted the 2016 American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday night and the hatred for Donald Trump in Hollywood was palpable.

On the heels of the networks providing next to no coverage of Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan (Ohio) challenging Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) for House Minority Leader, ABC and CBS ignored it while NBC only briefly noted it on their Sunday morning talk shows whereas CNN’s State of the Union featured a full segment with Ryan.
