 The CEO of Unilever claims it is “absolutely crucial” to meet temperature targets set by the UN in Paris.  Paul Polman sounded the alarm in a recent interview with the liberal Huffington Post on May 23. He oversees Unilever, the company behind consumer brands like Dove, Lipton and Klondike. 

Former Reagan official David Stockman predicted that whoever was elected in 2016 would “inherit a recession.” Stockman, former Director of the Office of Management and Budget for President Ronald Reagan, said on May 25, 2016, that Wall Street would undergo “massive panic and selling.”

Several liberal media outlets that defend Planned Parenthood and shriek about climate change just received massive grants from a prominent foundation. The MacArthur Foundation claims its new grants to 12 non-profit media organizations will support “accurate, in-depth journalism,” but at least eight are well-supported by lefty billionaire George Soros.

CNBC anchor Joe Kernen tore into the prospect of a socialist president, and knocked young people who he said had a warped view of Bernie Sanders. Kernen’s comments came in response to a report by political correspondent John Harwood on the democratic presidential race. In his report, Harwood featured a poll that had Sanders losing to Clinton by 14 percentage points.

PETA is at it again, getting down and dirty with its activism. In a “Behind the Leather” video, PETA showed customers shopping for leather products, only to find grisly insides. The anti-leather products stunt was an effort to raise awareness about the way exotic skin products are made in southeast Asia.

Liberal actor and climate alarmist Mark Ruffalo is scaring Flint residents into not bathing or washing their hands, without cause. Virginia Tech professor Dr. Marc Edwards ripped Ruffalo as an “A-List Actor But F-List Scientist” on May 16, 2016, for “pseudoscience and false alarms” created by Ruffalo’s activist group, Water Defense.

The Huffington Post is freaking out over climate change, and wants to figure out why most people aren’t. “CLIMATE IN CRISIS,” HuffPo blared the headline on May 16. In addition to that all caps header, the homepage included an image of a flaming globe. 

CNBC anchors Joe Kernen and Michelle Caruso Cabrera poked fun at socialism, saying it equalized results, but made everything worse. Cabrera said on Squawk Box May 12, that socialism brought about “equal suffering,” while Kernen similarly remarked that it represented “equally-shared misery.”

Eleven days after a raging forest fire forced the entire town of Fort McMurray to evacuate, there is still no timeline for the displaced families to return home. The media, however, have been busy using the tragedy as yet another opportunity to promote climate change rhetoric.
