Faux-Feminist Director Whedon Wants Trump to ‘Die, Just Quietly Die’

How do you regain your cred in liberal Hollywood? It’s simple: just wish for the President’s death.

After celebs have tried again and again to gain publicity through their grisly hopes for President Trump to die in one way or another, Joss Whedon, director of Avengers, Firefly and Buffy, decided to join the fray. Apparently death is the answer for the frustrated Hollywood liberal.

On April 3, he tweeted, “Donald trump is killing this country. Some of it quickly, some slowly, but he spoils and destroys everything he touches. He emboldens monsters, wielding guns, governmental power, or just smug doublespeak. Or Russia. My hate and sadness are exhausting. Die, Don. Just quietly die.”

Poor Joss. Perhaps he’s still upset by his own conspiracy theory from last year, when he suggested that the United States under Trump’s administration might start killing gay people.

The public knew Whedon took issue with the GOP and more specifically, House Speaker Paul Ryan, especially when in 2017 the director tweeted that he wanted a “rhino to fuck @SpeakerRyan to death with its horn.”  Given his Twitter bio joke about cannibalism, it’s possible he suffers from violent tendencies or just really bad jokes. Later, he hinted that Ryan could be a pedophile, which caused his own followers to be outraged at him.

In 2016, before the election, Whedon and the cast of the Avengers released a video urging voters not to vote for the “racist, abusive coward.” Later, he tweeted that Trump “cannot be allowed to take office.”Now that he’s been in office for more than a year, apparently Whedon just wants Trump dead.

The extremist director, in addition to all his violent desires, has tried to be recognized as a feminist, but instead has been slammed by his ex-wife as a poser who used the feminist tag to spur affairs. The backlash from that revelation was so bad that Whedon gave up trying to make a Batgirl movie.
