During their Tuesday night broadcast of Evening News CBS directed the blame for the Orlando terrorist attack towards American Christians, even though it was carried out by a pledged member of the Islamic State. To ease into the Christian bashing host Scott Pelley stated, “There has been so much progress for the LGBT Community, but we are now reminded that fear is still a constant reality.”

The Washington Post defined the old term “high dudgeon” when Donald Trump took away its press credentials for being “dishonest and phony.” The Post triggered this with a loaded headline: “Donald Trump suggests President Obama was involved with Orlando shooting.” This could be believable stuff, since Trump had bizarrely suggested Ted Cruz’s father might have been connected to the JFK…

The liberal comedian Louis CK is a darling of the cultural Left. Esquire magazine hailed him for locating with few words “the awkward, painful truth of everyday life.” He explains the 2016 presidential election using a "brilliant airplane analogy.” It was simply this, the notion that Hillary is the sober, statesmanlike figure of experience,  your most masterful airplane pilot:

The Media Research Center’s Tim Graham appeared on Fox Business Network’s Risk and Reward to discuss the liberal media’s response to the Orlando terrorist attack. “They always talk about one side goes to talking about radical Islam and the other side goes to talking about gun control,” Graham began, “And guess which side the so-called objective media goes to?” 

The North Carolina media have been predictably out of control since the state passed and signed the transgender bathroom law, but their behavior sunk even further following the Orlando terror attack when WRAL chief political correspondent Laura Leslie suggested backers of the law were to blame for the shooting because of their “rhetoric” “in the wake of this horrific anti-gay crime.”

Tuesday on Morning Joe, the gun control conversation continued in the wake of terrorism in Orlando.  However, MSNBC didn’t put the spotlight on the FBI for taking Omar Mateen off the terrorist watch list, nor did they call out Congress for letting the federal assault weapons ban expire. On Monday night and Tuesday morning, the “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC offered multiple segments decrying presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for revoking press credentials from The Washington Post while having the exact opposite reaction to three newspapers being banned from the Obama campaign press plane in 2008.
