Donald Trump’s campaign has banned the Washington Post from campaign events. In a post on Facebook, the businessman announced, “Based on the incredibly inaccurate coverage and reporting of the record setting Trump campaign, we are hereby revoking the press credentials of the phony and dishonest Washington Post.” 

CBS and NBC aggressively promoted gun control, Monday. After lecturing Donald Trump to “consider” more restrictions in the wake of the Orlando terror attack, these networks pushed Florida’s governor to do the same. CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King lectured Rick Scott, “The horror of this. You now join the roll call list nobody wants to be on: Aurora, San Bernardino, certainly Newtown.” 

The New York Times allowed barely a day to elapse before it sought to blame the Orlando terror attack on the National Rifle Association (NRA) as columnist Roger Cohen argued in a column filed on Monday that the Brexit movement, the NRA, and Donald Trump have contributed with ISIS to a world that encourages such acts of violence.

During interviews with Hillary Clinton on Monday, both NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning invited the presumptive Democratic nominee to use Sunday’s terrorist attack in Orlando to push her liberal gun control agenda. While he apologized roughly six minutes later, MSNBC breaking news anchor and disgraced ex-NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams jokingly asked former Republican Senator Mel Martinez of Florida during an interview about the Orlando terror attack if he could find his party in the 2016 election “with a flashlight.”

Each of the network evening newscasts devoted the duration of their air time to the terrorist attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando and, unfortunately, the networks immediately rushed to the issue of gun control and did only the bare minimum to highlight Omar Mateen’s radical Islamic beliefs. 

Tom Brokaw echoed ABC on Sunday by blaming the terrorist attack in Orlando Florida on the popularity of guns in America. Twitter is alight with folks weighing in from both sides, people pointing to the Islamic name and others pointing to the use of an AR-15,” he remarked. He went on to say that he hoped a meaningful dialogue would come from the event.

On Sunday, even after the FBI hinted the presence of a link to radical Islam, the panel on ABC’s This Week blamed the terrorist attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on heated election rhetoric and guns in America. “I think we all ought to pause with what happened in Orlando today,” stated ABC’s Matt Dowd when asked if third party candidates could gain supporters, “And if we understand…

If someone in the movie business lost a job due to his or her skin color social media would rise up in anger. Venomous tweets. Righteous social media memes.
