NBC Winter Olympics coverage may be tanking in the ratings, and taking fire for sloppy broadcasting, but the Peacock is reluctant to let go of the Gayest Games Ever™. The network just announced it has hired Adam Rippon to as a correspondent for the remainder of the Olympics. He will “work for the network on a variety of platforms, including television, digital and social media.”

On Thursday, CBS This Morning joined ABC’s Good Morning America in applauding openly gay Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy as a “champion for LGBTQ rights” who was using his position on Team USA to blast the Trump administration for failing to “support the LGBT community.”

Martin Rogers is probably a nice man, and he seems sincere when he writes in USA Today, “Tolerance and understanding of the LGBT community still has some way to travel, but isn’t there enough of it for there to at least be a conversation about new Olympic events allowing two men and two women to skate in tandem?”

Eat your hearts out all you bigots and start celebrating homosexual Olympians, writes The Washington Post columnist Jerry Brewer in a 1,300-word "PSA" for LGBT activists. It’s often said at sites like this one, but sometimes, you can’t make this stuff up. On the Tuesday edition of CNN’s The Situation Room, host Wolf Blitzer and correspondent Brian Todd assessed whether the North Korean delegation at the Winter Olympic games “manipulate[d] world public opinion” without mention of their own network’s role in the “charm offensive.”

After a disturbing amount of media outlets spent much of the weekend swooning for North Korea’s master of propaganda Kim Yo-jong, The Hill’s media reporter Joe Concha appeared on Fox News Channel’s Happening Now and slammed them for helping to put a positive spin on the murderous regime.

After NBC took to Twitter over the weekend to tout how it was “so satisfying to watch” the North Korean cheerleading squad (before deleting it), Monday’s NBC Nightly News danced around and largely voided the reason the squad was there and what their actual purpose was. In contrast, CBS Evening News highlighted the outrage against the group and the dark reason they were performing.

If you thought that the liberal media’s horrid behavior swooning over the murderous North Korean regime and Kim Yo-jong at the Winter Olympics was just a weekend affair, you’re sadly mistaken. On Monday morning, Reuters published a pro-Kim piece that took until paragraph 16 to offer a concrete counterpoint that this distracted from their country’s human rights abuses.

BBC Host Katty Kay indignantly denied the media's overwhelmingly friendly coverage of North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-un’s sister, Kim Yo-jong, calling it “insulting” to suggest that the media had fallen for the North Korean official.

Monday on ABC’s The View, liberal hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar called Vice President Mike Pence a hypocrite for sitting down while North Korean athletes marched into the stadium at the Olympic Games this weekend. Whoopi complained that Pence didn’t not show North Korea their due “respect,” while Hostin compared Pence’s actions to the NFL anthem protests.

The New York Times is using the Winter Olympics to hand North Korea’s gulag nation a public relations victory over Vice President Mike Pence, in the smiling form of the dictator’s influential sister: “Kim Jong-un’s Sister Turns on the Charm, Taking Pence’s Spotlight.” The reporters delighted in using Pence as a stooge stand-in for the loathed President Trump.
