Subway is losing franchises hand over foot, and its Rapinoe ad campaign is getting some of the blame for the company driving customers away.

Conservative Americans are hailing a rebirth of free speech with Elon Musk gaining ownership of Twitter. Nutty leftists are citing – of all people -- Colin Kaepernick to “prove” conservatives are hypocrites about free speech.

The NFL is in many ways a sleazy organization with more than its share of felons, drug abusers, wife beaters, woke nut jobs and drunks. Add another log on the fire as tonight’s first overall draft pick has been offered a “freebie” by a Las Vegas “sex worker.” 

The list of who’s politically correct enough to speak at Harvard University is certainly shrinking. Dr. Devin Buckley, a board member of the far-Left feminist organization, Women’s Liberation Front (WOLF), doesn’t even qualify to give a guest lecture at the woke Ivy League school. She was de-platformed because she and WOLF believe in the integrity of women’s sports. 

The National Football League instituted the process of drafting college players in 1936, but we’ve just learned from NBC Pro Football Talk’s liberal host Mike Florio that this is an “anti-American” activity. He made this sensationalistic claim in his book Playmakers: How the NFL Really Works, released last month.  

To say this hasn’t been a banner year for the NFL is a classic understatement. Make no mistake: it’s operating under a dark cloud. Eleven players have been arrested, six for alleged acts of violence. The league keeps embarrassing itself with ridiculous hiring mandates. Additionally, the Deshaun Watson scandal continues to fester.

Narcissist extraordinaire LeBron James has made a really bad prediction for the NBA: he says he will never miss the NBA playoffs again. His absence in this year’s playoffs has brought nothing but good news for the woke league because television viewership in a James-less playoff season has increased substantially. 

Former NBA superstar Jerry West and his Los Angeles Lakers friends are slam dunking on HBO for its “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” drama depiction of the Hall of Famer. They say HBO committed a flagrant foul by making it up in its portrayal of West as a drunken, out-of-control rage-aholic. 

NFL quarterback wannabe Colin Kaepernick says he is willing to accept a backup role with a team, and his remarks infuriated a long-time supporter. ESPN First Take host Stephen A. Smith said Tuesday that America owes Kaepernick an NFL job because he kneeled for national anthems “on behalf of us,” but he also accused the football pariah of not being sincere about wanting to play again. 

The risk of death from COVID among young adult athletes is so rare that it is considered inconsequential. On the other hand, the number of young adult athletes suffering and dying from COVID vaccinations and booster shots is mounting.

The National Football League has called for a diversity lite networking meeting May 23-24 that will exclude white people and limit the number of minorities allowed to attend. Each of the league’s 32 teams will be allowed to send one woman and one minority to the meet-and-greet opportunity.

The Blaze Fearless podcast commentator Jason Whitlock on Monday accused the Disney empire of expanding its so-called “magic queendom” to re-make ESPN and sports. A former employee of ESPN himself, Whitlock said it’s an attempt to ruin the worldwide leader in by converting it into a feminized and woke organization.
