Just hours before the Senate confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch was set to begin, NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning eagerly parroted Democratic talking points against President Trump’s judicial pick and promised an “intense grilling” for the federal judge as the “ugly” process got underway.

On Friday, in part two of his interview with United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, NBC Today co-host Matt Lauer worried about how President Trump was viewed by the international organization: “As you walk through the halls of the United Nations, does this president have credibility?”

In an interview with Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow for Friday’s NBC Today, correspondent Stephanie Gosk worried that the conservative media figure did not think it was “dangerous” for the President to criticize the press: “President Trump calling the, quote, ‘fake news media,’ ‘the enemy of the American people.’ That kind of extreme language, is that not damaging to our democracy?”

The hostile coverage even included a call on Pruitt to resign over the comments.

Illegal border crossings have plummeted since Donald Trump took office, down a considerable 40 percent. The hosts of NBC’s Today, despite a four hour-long show, didn’t bother covering the development. CBS This Morning managed 24 seconds. ABC’s Good Morning America offered a scant 19 seconds. The three morning shows have an available eight hours of air time. 

On Wednesday, all three network morning shows seized on false left-wing speculation that a brief power outage at the Statue of Liberty Tuesday night was meant to be a show of support for the “A Day Without A Women” protests planned for International Women’s Day. While the ABC, NBC, and CBS broadcasts knocked down those claims, hosts did use the incident as a way to promote the liberal…

In a report for Monday’s NBC Today, correspondent Jeff Rossen touted a “rare jailhouse interview” with a convicted burglar to offer tips to viewers on how to prevent a home invasion. However, even as the incarcerated criminal explained that traditional methods such as security alarms and cameras were poor deterrents, Rossen failed to inquire about homeowners using firearms in self defense.
