Como nuevo ejemplo del flaco (e irresponsable) servicio que Telemundo le hace con demasiado frecuencia a sus televidentes, la cadena hermana de habla hispana de la NBC desplegó el titular "Trump contra minorías" durante su informe sobre el más reciente cambio de política pública del gobierno de Trump en materia de acción afirmativa.

In the latest example of slanted and distorted reporting against local, state and federal law enforcement officers, Telemundo host María Celeste Arrarás declared that members of the Austin, Texas Police Department were guilty of ‘classic abuse’ as she showed viewers a recent viral arrest video and failed to include in her report key facts about the case.

Media Research Center Latino Director Ken Oliver-Mendez appeared on Fox Business, Wednesday, to discuss Univision ignoring record low unemployment amongst Hispanics. After Cavuto guest host Charles Payne explained that 62 percent of Hispanics feel better off now, Oliver-Mendez replied: “That wasn't news on Univision or Telemundo.” 

On the morning of July 6, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that Hispanic unemployment in the United States had reached its lowest level, 4.6%, in the 45 years since the agency first started keeping records on the statistic, back in 1973. One would think such a historic achievement would be news that night on the nation’s leading Spanish-language television news…

In yet another disservice to its viewers, Telemundo, the Spanish-language sister television network of NBC, chose to blast the headline “Trump Against Minorities” when reporting on the Trump administration’s revocation of Obama-era guidelines on affirmative action.

United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ announcement that federal law enforcement and judicial authorities are now working in unison to stop the rash of illegitimate asylum claims that have plagued the U.S. immigration system in recent years is meeting with stiff opposition from Telemundo, the Spanish-language sister network of NBC.

A well-known Las Vegas restaurant, Jamms Breakfast and Lunch Diner, is getting lambasted by Telemundo for a new work rule that simply prohibits its employees from speaking Spanish in front of customers who don’t speak Spanish.
