Netflix premiered its dramedy of short stories centered around the COVID pandemic, Social Distance, on Thursday. Not surprisingly, the show was heavy on liberal propaganda, especially in regard to the issue of race and police.

The continuing controversial saga of Netflix’s release of the movie Cuties is sadly still going. This time, a Netflix CEO decided to weigh in on the media backlash following the movie. As usual, his answer serves to only make things worse.

Media outlets have done everything possible to mitigate the fallout from CutiesGate. The French drama Cuties, which bowed on Netflix Sept. 9, purports to capture how pre-teen girls are sexualized in western culture. To do so, director Maïmouna Doucouré showed pre-teen girls twerking, grinding and more for extended periods.

Girls wearing skimpy outfits while twerking somehow does not qualify as sexualization. On NBC News’ left-wing blog “Think,” reporter and cultural critic Sam Thielman mounted a heroic but vain defense of Cuties against the attacks of the “pedophile-obsessed American right,” claiming that the film is solely about a girl caught in a “tug-of-war” between two cultures.

The debate over Netflix’s controversial film Cuties continues, somehow, with liberals in the media double and tripling down on defending the movie from charges of sexualizing children. One way of doing this that has picked up steam recently is trying to delegitimize the efforts to cancel Netflix by associating them with QAnon.
