On Wednesday, his denouncement was of anti-Semitic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her infamous “some people did something” chide against the solemn day.

During an interview with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Wednesday, Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie pressed her guest on whether Russia “elected Donald Trump.” In response, Rice ripped apart the notion and lectured the NBC anchor: “I really don’t think that’s a good conversation to have.”

Just as they did with President Trump’s comments referring to MS-13 gang members as “animals” in May of 2018, ABC and NBC spent Monday night misrepresenting the President’s comments to suggest he called the Bahamian people fleeing the destruction of Hurricane Dorian “very bad people”.

On Monday, both NBC’s Today show and CBS This Morning marked the two-year anniversary of the #MeToo movement by interviewing the New York Times reporters who broke the Harvey Weinstein story in the fall of 2017. However, missing from the coverage was any mention of the scandals that hit both networks just weeks following Weinstein, with the firings of Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose.  

Ahead of MSNBC’s climate change forum with several 2020 Democratic candidates on September 19 and 20, on Monday, NBC News announced it will be creating a new “climate unit” of reporters devoted to pushing the liberal environmental agenda and even launch a Climate in Crisis series in the days leading up to the presidential campaign event.

ABC actually gave that 18 seconds in the promo at the top of the show (and then a two-minute report).
