After Hillary Clinton used a softball inteview during a Silicon Valley tech conference on Wednesday to blame everyone but herself for her failed presidential campaign, Thursday’s network morning shows eagerly promoted her excuses, even pushing unfounded conspiracy theories advanced by the former Democratic nominee.

While NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday devoted full reports to comedian Kathy Griffin’s widely-condemned mock beheading of an effigy of President Trump, CBS This Morning could only afford a 36-second news brief on the topic. On Friday, all three network morning shows began with anchors breathlessly declaring that President Trump’s son-in-law and White House adviser Jared Kushner was “under scrutiny” in the FBI’s Russia investigation. However, after offering the screaming salacious headlines, each broadcast quietly admitted that Kushner was not the target of the investigation nor was he accused of any wrongdoing.

On Monday and Tuesday, the broadcast networks all read from the same liberal script as anchors and correspondents blasted the Trump administration’s proposed budget for making “deep cuts” to “social safety nets” that would be “especially cruel” to the poor. Not once was the nation’s nearly $20 trillion debt mentioned in any of the one-sided coverage.

Twenty-two people are confirmed dead and dozens more injured, after a suicide bomber set off a bomb in a concert arena late Monday night in Manchester, England. Even more sickening is the fact that thousands of young children and teens were at this concert. Despite the horrific nature and impact, ABC was eager to downplay the motive behind the deadly attack. After the evening news broadcasts rushed to hype an unconfirmed Washington Post report based off of anonymous sources Monday night, ABC was eager to tout the story as “the most significant and dangerous mistake of the Trump presidency” on Tuesday morning’s Good Morning America.  

On Monday’s Good Morning America, co-host George Stephanopoulos was all set to convict President Trump of a crime and move on to impeachment proceedings as he cited left-wing Harvard Law professor and Barack Obama mentor Laurence Tribe, who called for just that in a screed for Saturday’s Washington Post.

Though the networks on Tuesday were excited by the “dramatic” and “explosive” testimony of Sally Yates, only CBS This Morning bothered to show Ted Cruz hammering the ex-Justice Department official about the legality of Donald Trump’s travel ban.
