Nets Hype ‘Major New Controversy’ of ‘Hardline’ Immigration Plan

After Wednesday’s network evening newscasts rushed to slam President Trump’s immigration reform proposal, on Thursday, the morning shows of NBC, ABC, and CBS continued the work of trashing the “hardline” policy and framing it as a “major new controversy” for the administration designed to only appeal to the President’s “hardcore supporters.”

CBS Skips Skyrocketing Stocks, NBC Allows Trump ‘Some’ Credit

Despite two hours of air time, CBS This Morning on Thursday ignored the stock market soaring above 22,000. Over on NBC’s Today, the journalists allowed Donald Trump “some” credit for the rise, but cautioned not to give too much. ABC’s Good Morning America mentioned it in a news brief.

Venezuela’s president held a sham election on July 30 that created an assembly out of his own supporters, to bypass that country’s elected representatives and rewrite the constitution. But, inexcusably, the broadcast networks seem to be going out of their way to avoid reporting on this glaring example of how socialism inevitably turns out, if it’s allowed to continue unchecked.
