CBS on Sunday and Monday hammered Republicans in Congress for supporting a law in 2015 that changed how the Department of Drug Enforcement could regulate opioid distribution. As the opioid crisis grew, the network minimized the fact that the law was signed by Barack Obama. On 60 Minutes, Sunday, Obama’s name was mentioned just once. 

Monday’s network morning shows all promoted former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick suing the NFL and claiming that all 32 League teams were in “collusion” against hiring him, despite a complete lack of evidence for his claims.

After Thursday’s network evening newscasts feared that President Trump’s executive action curtailing ObamaCare regulations was a threat to Barack Obama’s legacy, on Friday morning, the ABC, CBS, and NBC morning shows launched into full panic mode over “the biggest move to undermine ObamaCare yet” and touted how “Democrats call the move pointless sabotage.”

After five days of silence, Barack Obama on Tuesday finally denounced mega-donor Harvey Weinstein, a man now accused of raping three women, harassing others and exposing his genitals to a young reporter. The journalists at CBS This Morning on Monday hyped the city of Copenhagen’s obsessive drive to eliminate cars. Touting solar powers, Mo Rocca praised, “It’s all part of Copenhagen's ambitious plan to become the cleanest energy city in the world.” 

While the broadcast networks were thrilled in September at the prospect that President Trump might strike a deal with Democrats to pass DACA legislation, his call for border security to be part of any such proposal left the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows crying foul Monday morning as they channeled liberal outrage.

The liberal media, who claim to champion women, overlooked allegations against Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein for two years. Instead, they gave him applause.  

After hailing former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for supposedly taking a “stand” for “civil rights” by disrespecting the National Anthem, Monday’s network morning shows had the gall to attack Vice President Mike Pence for walking out of an NFL game on Sunday in protest of such player actions. All three broadcasts touted left-wing “critics” deriding the move as a “PR stunt.”

In spite of the media’s love for the “Fearless Girl” statue that faced down the famous Wall Street “Charging Bull,” it turns out the company behind the statue may not be isn’t so women-friendly as it claimed. Mediaite reported on Oct. 6, that the company behind the statue agreed to pay $5 million in back pay to allegedly underpaid women and minorities.

On Friday, all three network morning shows invited on Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda to promote a new song he produced with other celebrities to raise funds for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.
