Colbert: Lots of Trump, Nothing on Clinton, Avoids Liberal Lecturing

Stephen Colbert largely kept his liberal politics in check on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS, at least in the Tuesday night debut, not producing the highly political program conservatives feared would emerge after Colbert rid himself of the conservative buffoon act he offered on Comedy Central. Overall, a much sillier and artificial program than David Letterman’s old show.

Mitchell Touts Hillary’s ‘Reset’ Showing a ‘Fun Side'; 'Lighter Touch'

While ABC’s World News Tonight aired on Tuesday David Muir’s exclusive interview with Hillary Clinton, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News soldiered on with full stories on the 2016 campaign boosting the Clinton camp’s “reset” trying to promote the candidate’s “fun side...along with a lighter touch” in an attempt “to match the exuberance surrounding Bernie Sanders.”

Muir Ends Hillary Interview with Softballs on Running, Mom's 'Voice'

In her third interview in the past week, Hillary Clinton sat down Tuesday with ABC’s World News Tonight anchor David Muir and while Muir pressed her on the e-mail scandal, Muir concluded part one of the discussion with gooey questions about if she ponders why she’s running for president “in your most private of moments” and whether she hears “your mother’s voice in your ear.”

MSNBC's Matthews Cheers Francis As Foil to Conservative Wing of Church

A few weeks ahead of Pope Francis's visit to the United States, liberal cradle Catholic Chris Matthews -- who once opined that it was somewhat en vogue for "really anti-gay" folks to convert to the faith -- used the upcoming visit as an opportunity to praise the pontiff as a foil for more conservative and traditionalist wings of the Catholic Church, particularly in the United States.

Matthews Defends Biden Kissing Stranger on Lips: Nothing Wrong With It

Maybe Biden can do one of those DirectTV ads: "Hi, I'm Joe Biden.  And I'm Creepy Joe Biden" . . .  On this evening's Hardball, Cook Report editor Amy Walter revealed that during a South Carolina event, Joe Biden kissed her mother, who had never before met him, on the lips. Walter said that her mother's reaction was "okay well, there we go." Chris Matthews flew to Biden's defense: "that's a very…

MSNBC's Roberts Presses Howard Dean On Clinton Email Scandal

It got a little heated yesterday when MSNBC host Thomas Roberts interviewed former Gov. Howard Dean (D-Vermont) over whether or not Hilary Clinton’s email controversy is a made-up media obsession or a legitimate point of concern for the Democratic presidential candidate. In fact, it got so contentious between the two that Susan Del Percio, a Republican strategist, sat quietly the last eight…

CNN's Camerota Presses Andrew Cuomo on Gun Control, Stop and Frisk

CNN's Alisyn Camerota confronted New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday's New Day, after the Democrat used the shooting of his aide to advance gun control. When Cuomo admitted that "we passed a law...that is probably the most restrictive gun control law in the nation," Camerota interrupted the governor and pointed out that "opponents of more laws say the criminals are the ones who will always…

ABC, NBC Skimp on Obama's Latest Executive Order, CBS Ignores

CBS on Monday and Tuesday ignored Barack Obama's latest executive order, this one effecting 300,000 workers. NBC and ABC skimped on the story, offering just seconds. On the NBC Nightly News, Kate Snow trumpeted: "With the stroke of the President's pen on this Labor Day, about 300,000 workers will get something many have fought for: guaranteed paid sick leave."

MSNBC Accuses Iran Deal Opponents of ‘Making it Partisan’

Despite the bipartisan opposition to the Iran nuclear deal, on Tuesday, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell and Wall Street Journal political editor Jeanne Cummings accused critics of the plan of being “partisan.” Mitchell began by touting a video of former Vice President Dick Cheney being shouted down by a left-wing protester: “Dick Cheney today speaking about Iran with a very tough attack on the…

Time Censors Pope Francis Quote Calling Abortion 'Killing'

Time magazine selectively edited Pope Francis’ significant words on the issue of abortion recently. Last week ABC News organized a “virtual town hall” for Americans across the country to ask Pope Francis questions about faith, life and their struggles.  This forum was meant to give a little preview on what to expect when Pope Francis arrives in the United States in about two weeks.

CNN: Rising Sea Levels Threaten to Flood NASA Launch Sites

NASA scientists claimed that 2014 was the hottest year ever! ...Oops! Never mind. When the facts were subsequently checked, the NASA scientists sheepishly admitted that there was only a 38% chance this was true which means probably not true. However, for you fans of broad climate predictions, I have good news. NASA scientists are now claiming that rising seas threaten to flood NASA launch sites…

Young Turks' Kasparian Calls Pro-Lifers ‘Hypocritical’ ‘Murderers’

This past Friday, a Planned Parenthood clinic in Washington state was set on fire. Fortunately no one was hurt. Unfortunately, these few and far between acts of violence committed by lone wolves give the left ammo to make their case that the pro-life side is really pro-death. That’s exactly what Ana Kasparian, one of the hosts of the Young Turks, a popular left-wing talk show on Youtube, did in…

At AP, Little Coverage of Dem Candidates' Complaints About Economy

Democrats' current and potential candidates for their party's 2016 presidential nomination continue to complain about various aspects of the economy. They continue to make no connection between their complaints and the fact that Democrat Barack Obama has been in the White House for over six years. Obama has for the most part operated either under the conditions created by the 2009-2010 Congress…
