NYT Reporter: Blumenthal 'Very Important' in Swaying Hillary on Libya
New York Times correspondent Mark Landler has a new book out discussing the foreign-policy ideas of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton titled Alter Egos. On Monday, as part of the book tour, he appeared on The Steve Malzberg Show on Newsmax TV. Landler argued that Mrs. Clinton will run as more centrist and hawkish than Obama....like she did in 2008.
But when Malzberg pressed Landler on her close…

CNN's Louis: Right-Wing 'Kangaroo Courts' Already Convicted Hillary
Appearing as a guest on Friday's New Day, the morning after declaring that Republicans are "detached from rational" thought on Hillary Clinton, CNN political commentator Errol Louis continued inoculating Clinton from charges of malfeasance in the email scandal as he charged that, "in the kangaroo courts of right-wing talk radio, for Donald Trump, for the Republican party," a clean report from the…

NYT: New Muslim Mayor of London Triumph Over Far-Right 'Islamophobia'
The New York Times' ongoing all-front war on “Islamophobia” raged on in coverage of the election of Labour candidate Sadiq Khan, the first Muslim mayor of London. Stephen Castle led hard with it in his Saturday story, which made the front page under a headline quoting the new liberal himself as making a grand triumph over hate: “Electing Their First Muslim Mayor, Londoners Chose ‘Unity Over…

Campbell Brown: Curb Trump Campaign Coverage, Never for Obama
In two different articles over the last six months, former CNN and NBC anchor Campbell Brown offered a fair representation of some of the media handwringing about their responsibility for Donald Trump. They charged Trump is over-covered. But wait: did anyone see Campbell Brown complaining that the media gave too much attention to Barack Obama in 2008? I haven't been able to find any complaints.

Joy Reid's Kind of Republican Calls Trump a 'Fascist'
We made it a point to tune into Joy Reid's debut this morning in the MSNBC slot formerly occupied by Melissa Harris-Perry. For anyone who imagined Reid might be more fair-and-balanced than MH-P: fuggedaboutit. After an all-liberal opening panel blamed Bernie Sanders for failing to adequately address the concerns of African-Americans, the remainder of the show was one, long, hate-Trump fest.
Mac…

Dishonest PBS Can't Describe How Obscene These Dirty Pictures Are
On Thursday’s PBS NewsHour, they devoted almost seven minutes to leftist porn-art icon Robert Mapplethorpe, about a month after the HBO documentary honoring him. The only difference? PBS censored all the most outrageous images, since it’s a broadcast network. (Not that they’d have to worry much about Obama’s FCC.)
PBS correspondent Jeffrey Brown explained “Mapplethorpe was best known for his…

Get Ready for Hollywood to Declare War on Trump
Remember how Hollywood rallied around Barack Obama not once but twice to help him become president. That was nothing. A warm up. A practice run. Call it a dress rehearsal if you must. Sometime soon, maybe even over the next 24 hours, the entertainment community will unofficially declare war on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Far-Left, Anti-Christian Seth MacFarlane Making This Show on Fox
Fox announced on Wednesday that the very liberal, anti-Christian Seth MacFarlane will be getting yet another show on the network. This time, it will be an “hour-long comedic drama.” According to Deadline Hollywood, the plot is this: “Set 300 years in the future, the show follows the adventures of the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth’s interstellar fleet.”

NYT's Krugman Warns Media of 'False Equivalency' of HRC and Racist GOP
As the political mood turns away from party infighting and toward the general election, economist turned partisan hack Paul Krugman column delivered yet another smug media lecture to his readers. In his latest New York Times column, Krugman warned his journalistic colleagues to avoid “false equivalence” between honest Hillary Clinton and the lying racist Republicans who support Donald Trump, in “…

Bozell & Graham Column: The Night Obama Crushed the Comedian
The White House Correspondents Association throws an enormous annual dinner that’s a pillar of the Washington power-elite scene. This year they picked Stephen Colbert’s Comedy Central replacement, Larry Wilmore. He was seriously unfunny, and he knew it. But the media coverage made it clear that Wilmore suffered badly in comparison – not to Colbert, but to his opening act, “comedian-in-chief”…

Tossing a Tampon for the Planet: 'Free Bleeding...Saving the World'
I don’t know what it is with Vice.com, but they sure have a thing for the “free bleeding” feminist movement that’s become more popular the last year or two, thanks in part to a hoax by teenaged boys and when a marathoner ran – letting it all flow – right through light colored spandex pants, for all the world to see.
Now, in an effort to try and jump on the environmental bandwagon, claiming…

Michael Sam: If I Had Never Come Out, I’d Still be in the NFL
Michael Sam believes that the fact that he came out as gay, played a “huge part” in why he is no longer in the NFL.

Chris Hayes: Trump's a 'Hot Wet Rag Applied To Infected Wound'
By the end of this campaign, someone might come up with a more disgusting metaphor for Donald Trump, but for now Chris Hayes has the early clubbhouse lead.
On his MSNBC show this evening, Hayes called Trump "a hot wet rag applied to an infected wound." Imagine the outrage if a conservative described Hillary Clinton with a similar simile. Hayes was interviewing the MSM's favorite kind of…

Law Professor: Trump Is the Reagan Revolution ‘On Steroids’
Some on the left claim that Donald Trump is an ideological descendant of Ronald Reagan, never mind that Reagan was Mr. Conservative and Trump is Mr. Opportunist. Paul Campos, from the University of Colorado, makes a different Trump-as-heir-to-Reagan argument. In a Thursday Salon article, Campos opined that the Reagan revolution was less about right-wing views than “stupidity, celebrity, and…
