During the 7 a.m. ET hour of Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie informed viewers of a “major win for the Trump administration in the U.S. Supreme Court” as a majority of the justices upheld the President’s travel ban. However, just one hour later, correspondent Kristen Welker appeared on the morning show and dismissed the news as only a “minor” victory for the White House.

Mocking Trump on SNL apparently has its perks. For Alec Baldwin, it was the perfect career choice, since now he is now promoted on not one, not two, but three media outlets: NBC, ABC, and NPR. Listening to liberal journalists denounce Roy Moore, Al Franken and John Conyers, you’d think the media had zero tolerance for politicians with a known history of sexual misconduct. But the Monday, December 4 episode, “Error of Admission” had its white characters “whitesplain” affirmative action to a black character, encouraging him to use the color of his skin as an advantage when applying to schools.

A two-front storyline about an American Muslim P.O.W. on CW’s Valor was presented in the episode titled “About Face” that aired on December 4. How the husband and wife involved cope with the stresses of fake news reports alleging that the soldier could be tied to radical Islam was intermingled throughout the show.
