Cameron Cawthorne at the Washington Free Beacon reported that Thursday night's CNN Tonight began with host Don Lemon looking annoyed at Chris Cuomo, asking an exasperated "Why?" as in why he would dedicate 39 minutes of his show to squabbling with Kellyanne Conway. Lemon thinks Conway is a complete waste of time. He obviously thinks porn star Stormy Daniels is a more respectable guest. 

Reporter Ron Nixon recounted the story of a Guatemalan girl who died, possibly of dehydration, after her father illegally crossed the U.S. border, in Saturday’s New York Times. Saturday's Today show on NBC spent almost two minutes highlighting an obituary for a suicide victim in Vermont that is part of an effort to encourage new laws that would require a 24-hour waiting period before purchasing a gun to try to prevent suicides. The report made no time for any dissenting point of view and merely served as a promotion for the gun control proposal.

Two can play this “Apology Game,” says rapper/actor Nick Cannon. Cannon scored plenty of headlines by defending his friend, Kevin Hart, following his ouster as Oscar host due to homophobic jokes told nearly a decade ago. Cannon isn’t done speaking out, and making some valid points along the way. He appeared on BuzzFeed News’ “AM to DM” program and addresses a number of hot button issues.

Liberal journalists have an interesting concept of what’s “sexy.” In the December 12, 2007 Washington Post, writers Mary Jordan and Kevin Sullivan wrote about Al Gore’s Nobel Prize. After mentioning actress Uma Thurman praise his global warming work, the reporters enthused, “Al Gore, sexy man. The thinking girl’s thoroughbred.” 

MSNBC host Joy Reid and guest Elie Mystal on Saturday openly connived about the best way to "get to" Trump. They concluded that it would be to "go after" Ivanka. Gloated Mystal: "this is the first time that we have Ivanka . . . in the crosshairs . . . The only way we're really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids . . . And this [going after Ivanka] could be the way to do it."

On New Day Saturday, as CNN continued to cover the story of an illegal immigrant whose seven-year-old daughter died possibly of dehydration after he illegally transported her across the desert, the show gave an unchallenged forum to liberal activist to complain about the Trump administration's handling of illegal immigration as if such deaths were the government's fault.
