Rather than report on the substance of the judge’s ruling or the numerous problems with the controversial health care law, reporters instead behaved like Democratic Party operatives as they trashed Republicans…

Thursday, the media continued bringing President Trump into their live coverage of former President George H.W. Bush’s funeral proceedings. Instead of comparing their presidencies, ABC took it a step further late Thursday, with two of its journalists crudely mocking how President Trump’s own funeral would be different.

Much of the coverage of the death of George H.W. Bush’s death has been kind and respectful. Some has been nasty. Then there’s the just plain weird. ABC journalist Terry Moran during streaming coverage, decided to take a shot at overpaid CEOS? Huh? He began by lamenting how Americans are all “in their corners” and not really listening to each other. Moran then stretched for this weird moment: 

Within moments of the broadcast networks coming on the air Tuesday night with their midterm coverage, ABC, CBS, and NBC had the long knives out for Republicans, condemning their “nativist,” “white-hot rhetoric” creating “one of the most divisive midterms in our lifetime” that was marred by “hate, violence and tragedy.”

With the election looming, the addition of a quarter million new jobs in October, grabbed headlines. But NBC Nightly News gave more than twice as much attention to the hot topic of celebrating Hollywood’s movie rating system.

Amid all the media hand-wringing over President Trump’s contentious 60 Minutes interview, one common theme that emerged on Monday morning was all three broadcast networks fretting over his skepticism of man-made climate change. Anchors and correspondents were aghast that Trump could have any doubt in the wake of a recent “dire” United Nations report on the global climate.

When it comes to the so-called mainstream media, it’s a case of Kanye West vs. Kanye West. The Networks on Thursday and Friday mocked the “bizarre,” “surreal” rapper for appearing at the White House with Donald Trump. But these outlets gushed over the “thoughtful” entertainer when he derided then-President George W. Bush as a racist. 

Breaking in with live coverage Friday, before and after the Senate vote to proceed onto the confirmation vote Saturday of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, ABC News’s Cokie Roberts, Jon Karl, Mary Bruce, David Muir and Terry Moran slammed the proceedings and the nominee as “very partisan” and an example of how sexual assault victims would be treated. Thursday morning ABC’s Good Morning America played to Democrat concerns yet again over the FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh, which completed Wednesday. Correspondent Terry Moran gave a completely one-sided, anti-Kavanaugh report touting everyone who was against his confirmation complaining that the FBI investigation wasn’t conducted how they wanted.

During ABC’s coverage of the Kavanaugh hearings, correspondent Terry Moran described Kavanaugh as “a man struggling to keep himself from disintegrating, from falling apart on national TV.” He added that Kavanaugh “roared with anger, unjudicious raw anger, and wept, as Cokie pointed out.”

Well, it looks like there will be quite a competition among the broadcast and cable networks for the services of Republican Senator Jeff Flake (AZ) once he retires. ABC did its part to suck up to Flake on Friday, lauding his decision to cave on the nomination of Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh by demanding an FBI probe.

While CBS was conceding that Brett Kavanaugh will probably make it onto the Supreme Court, ABC’s Terry Moran on Thursday fumed about how “millions of women” will feel “annihilated” if the Judge is confirmed. He also warned Kavanaugh not to rule against abortion or the high Court will lose “legitimacy.” 

After Christine Blasey Ford has finished testifying Thursday afternoon, ABC News broke in with their special panel to boast that Ford’s testimony would “rewrite history” and “sweep away” Judge Kavanaugh, regardless of his own innocence or testimony.

Journalistic standards and ethics no longer exist. That has become painfully obvious as the Kavanaugh confirmation process has dragged on. Wednesday saw a third outlandish accusation (a fourth and fifth by nightfall) that the liberal media pounced on with a blatant disregard for the facts and no curiosity for the truth.
