As part of the left’s bashing of Rudy Giuliani for stating his belief that President Obama doesn’t love America, MSNBC’s The Last Word convened a panel on Thursday night to berate Giuliani. Liberal radio show host Stephanie Miller went as far as to compare what the former New York City Mayor told a gathering of Republican donors to using derogatory language toward African-Americans, gays, and women: “[W]henever someone starts a sentence with, this is going to be horrible, it's like when someone says I'm not a racist, but n-word for a black person. I'm not a homophobe, but f-word for gay person, I’m not a sexist, but c-word for a woman. That's what this is.”
Since the Hobby Lobby decision, liberals have been sputtering about the War on WomenTM and trotting out arguments that are both beside the point and dubious in themselves.
Take for example liberal radio personality Stephanie Miller. On CNN’s “State of the Union” with Candy Crowley on July 6, Miller declared, “Every woman I know is furious about the hobby lobby decision.” Yes, she needs to get out more. But then she pulled out this liberal chestnut: “Ninety-eight percent of Catholic women use birth control.”
Liberals are so often a bundle of puzzling contradictions, aren't they? On any given day, they'll inveigh fervently against the horrors of violence, misogyny, drug addiction. All of minutes later, they'll gush their ardor for a reputed form of music that glorifies the pathologies they claim to hate. Go figure.
An example of this could be heard on Stephanie Miller's radio show today when she pined for the days that we'll see future American leaders "blacker" than President Obama and -- better yet -- they'll be gangsta rappers. Hey, we can only hope. Couldn't be any worse than the homies in charge now, right? (Audio after the jump)
A sure sign that Dear Leader in the White House is under siege? His most ardent followers in media are sounding like denizens of Radio Rwanda circa 1994.
Latest example -- liberal radio host Stephanie Miller, aka the "Sexy Liberal" (yes, she actually calls herself that) upping the ante with a bedwetter of a caller who feared for his children's safety because of the partial government shutdown. (Audio after the jump)
Liberals owe former President George W. Bush a huge debt of gratitude. Without him, they'd have so little to talk about when things don't go their way.
Bush is once again proving helpful to left wingers at a loss to explain limited public support for President Obama's apparent plan to attack Syria after its alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians. (Audio after the jump)
On Thursday night’s “Media Mash” with Sean Hannity on Fox News, MRC president and "Collusion" author Brent Bozell unloaded on MSNBC star Chris Matthews for repeatedly citing conservative senators who are digging in against Obamacare as “terrorists.” Sean Hannity asked if MSNBC is so desperate for ratings that they’ll say anything now.
Brent said Chris Matthews isn’t a liberal any more. He’s a radical with no decency (video and transcript below):
A bad stretch for liberals just got worse, all because George Zimmerman decided again he needed to get out of a vehicle.
This time Zimmerman helped rescue a family of four from a wrecked SUV in Florida. Turns out it was more than left-wing radio hosts Bill Press and Stephanie Miller could bear, as both expressed doubts about the incident while heaping aspersions on Zimmerman, who recently showed how a man of color facing a murder charge in a high-profile case could get a fair trial in America. On Wednesday's Erin Burnett OutFront, lefty radio host Stephanie Miller tried to be funny while downplaying Anthony Weiner's Twitter scandal as just an eighth-grade stunt and a "guy thing."
"Which middle school did you go to, Stephanie?" conservative CNN contributor Reihan Salam shot her down. And host Erin Burnett wouldn't have Miller's hackery, either: "I got to say, Stephanie, I beg to differ with you. This is pretty bizarre."
Just my impression but it sounded like the man said this without a trace of irony.
Singer/songwriter and political activist Stephen Stills appeared on Stephanie Miller's radio show yesterday and succeeded only in reinforcing my long-held disdain for hippies. (audio clip after page break)
This is a little late, but still wacky. On his radio show March 15, Fox News host Geraldo Rivera thinks the Irish really ought to take God out of Saint Patrick's Day. That's what he said. He's one of the many people at Fox who wave the rainbow LGBT/gay-Left flag.
"Having been a participant in plenty of St. Patrick's Day celebrations, I just have to say that one of the last things on my mind [was] to venerate St. Patrick. God bless him and all he did, [but] I just don't believe the celebration, I think it's largely a secular celebration," he argued. "More like Mardi Gras, isn't it?" Taking a more "inclusive" line would also help Catholicism, he lectured:
Left-wing blowhard and radio host Stephanie Miller has great news for her liberal cohorts. Republican is now a bad word. A study from NSON Opinion Strategy -- yeah, I'd never heard of them before now either -- said that 87% of their respondents found the word Republican synonymous with greed, racism, and violence.
Miller was overjoyed and shared the news with her scores of listeners:
Turns out rape is a laughing matter, providing you're a liberal.
In her ongoing desperate efforts to remain oh so edgy, left-wing radio host Stephanie Miller tried to extract humor from a subject one would think remains decidedly unfunny -- rape. (audio clip after page break)
