CNN Lauds Facebook’s ‘1984’-Style Scrubbing of Whistleblower’s Name
November 11th, 2019 5:53 PM
“Ignorance is strength.” That’s one of the three infamous “slogans of the Party” featured in George Orwell’s novel 1984, in which Big Brother edits the news to manipulate the populace. Well, it was that kind of authoritarian action CNN shills S.E. Cupp and Brian Stelter were celebrating, during Saturday’s edition of Unfiltered, when it came to social media giants Facebook and YouTube scrubbing…

November 10th, 2019 2:21 PM

Weird Right Now: Reporters Campaign for 'People's Right to Know'
November 7th, 2019 1:51 PM
CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter led off his "Reliable Sources" newsletter for Thursday with a new "Protect Press Freedom" campaign from two journalist groups, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and the Committee to Protect Journalists. Naturally, this is an effort to combat media criticism from President Trump. But leading with the words "People's Right to Know" is fascinating…

Liberal Rant Earns Reporter Anchor Chair on Morning Show Drama
November 5th, 2019 6:30 PM
Apple TV+'s flagship series, The Morning Show, was inspired by a book by CNN's Brian Stelter and it shows. Clearly meant to be prestige television in the mold of HBO, the series is more preachy, self-indulgent Newsroom than juicy, story-driven Big Little Lies. The first three episodes of a 10 episode season were released with the premiere of Apple TV+ on November 1.

Stelter Devotes Entire Segment to Obsessing Over Trump's Twitter Typos
November 5th, 2019 7:22 AM
CNN’s Brian Stelter devoted an entire segment on Sunday’s edition of Reliable Sources to obsessing over President Trump’s spelling mistakes on Twitter. While he conceded that “everybody makes spelling mistakes,” Stelter seemed to think that the President’s Twitter typos deserve extra special scrutiny because “if you can’t get the small stuff,” such as spelling, “people worry about the big stuff…

CNN Desperately Defends Terrorist Leader’s Reputation as a Tough Guy
November 3rd, 2019 12:23 PM
A week after ISIS founder and leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was eliminated in a raid by U.S. Special Forces at the order of President Trump, the liberal media were still desperately trying to discredit the President’s claim that the terrorist fled down a dead-end tunnel in fear while “crying” and “whimpering.” They were so reluctant to give Trump a W that CNN was defending al-Baghdadi’s reputation…

Stelter Interviews His Boss: 'Smarmiest, Dishonest, Squirm-Inducing'
November 2nd, 2019 4:30 PM
Before it completely vanishes from public consciousness, we'd like to add one take to Brian Stelter's interview with his boss Jeff Zucker at the Citizen by CNN conference. David Marcus at The Federalist had a strong opinion: "By the end of the half hour, I can honestly say I had experienced the smarmiest, most self-congratulatory, dishonest, and squirm-inducing discussion I have ever had the…

November 1st, 2019 10:53 AM
More than two months after the New York Times began an ambitious plan to “reframe” the history of slavery in this country, the August 18 issue of the newspaper’s magazine referring to the 1619 Project has sold out in the publication’s online store. In addition, supporters of the effort have encouraged its producers to add to their crusade by expanding the articles into a book.
CNN President Jeff Zucker: I’m ‘Very Open’ to Talk With Shepard Smith
October 25th, 2019 5:09 PM
It came as no surprise that Jeff Zucker, president of the liberal CNN network, stated on Thursday that he’d be “very open” to talking with Shepard Smith after the former anchor startled almost everyone by suddenly leaving the Fox News Channel on October 11. Of course, Zucker added that such a discussion would only take place after Smith’s contract expires and the “very talented” newsman…

October 22nd, 2019 10:19 AM
Stop the presses! CNN’s Brian Stelter, wants you to know that he reports on the facts and nothing but the facts. Of course, in reality this assertion could not be farther from the truth, but the host made the claim regardless on Sunday’s Reliable Sources.

Stelter Tries Jedi Mind Trick on #ExposeCNN Tapes -- 'No There There'
October 19th, 2019 11:25 PM
CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter completely dismissed the Project Veritas tapes exposing CNN in a podcast with Charles Sykes of the Trump-hating site The Bulwark. Stelter touted CNN spokesman Matt Dornic simply tweeting "Yawn" in reaction. "I don't think O'Keefe has published anything surprising or newsworthy," he claimed. "There's no there there to the claims O'Keefe is promoting."
Brian Stelter Touts Liberal-Funded Nonprofit News Orgs Joining Forces
October 18th, 2019 11:19 AM
It is interesting to see liberal outlets like CNN singing the praises of nonprofit news outlets like ProPublica and Texas Tribune, particularly because these entities happen to have been funded almost exclusively by some of the biggest liberal organizations, including organizations from George Soros’ Open Society Network.
CNN Rages at Media-Killing Meme, But Raved Over Trump-Killing Play
October 14th, 2019 8:15 PM
CNN was among the most outraged critics of a distasteful meme using the extremely distasteful mass-murder scene from the 2015 Kingsman movie, with Donald Trump killing Democrats and the press (logos over the face). CNN's PR account on Twitter demanded everyone in Trump-land must "denounce it immediately in the strongest possible terms." A meme suggesting the mass murder of the media is not funny…
