As CNN on Wednesday covered the passing of Rush Limbaugh, Anderson Cooper 360 ran a pre-recorded piece that was nearly all negative about the conservative icon's radio career. Correspondent Randi Kaye declared that "for decades, Limbaugh filled the airwaves with lies and conspiracy theories, racist and misogynistic comments."

A day after the Daily Beast’s Justin Baragona had to delete a tweet that claimed Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson had used an altered photo of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), fill-in host Mark Steyn lampooned the “impeccably progressive, woke-stapo” Baragona’s epic fail on Thursday as having been bathed in the “sewer of pathetic contemptible Hispanic ophthalmophobia.”

It’s TERFs vs. Trans! Twitter is awash in rhetorical blood as two reliably lefty identity groups are skirmishing again. But this time, it’s Joe Biden’s fault. Biden announced Wednesday that he was reversing Trump administration limitations on Title IX and restoring the draconian gender and sexuality nondiscrimination enforcement favored by the Obama administration -- men in women’s bathrooms…

One New York publication has reached new lows with its political commentary in recent days, going so far as to mock a female Republican congresswoman for her lack of children. Though that one congresswoman is not taking those insults lying down.

On Sunday’s Reliable Sources, CNN host Brian Stelter and his fellow host Jake Tapper collaborated to congratulate themselves on their brave efforts to hold Trump accountable. Not only did they rub each other’s backs throughout the segment, but Tapper boasted that he was braver than so many other "mainstream" reporters and that he just won't lower himself to interviewing horrible liars…

On Jonathan Capehart's MSNBC show, even as guest Brittney Cooper agreed with Mitt Romney that Trump will not invoke martial law or take other measures, she still mocked Mitt, saying: "it must be so nice to be a white man in America today, to have this sort of certainty." 

The network newscasts on Sunday night and Monday morning were predictably silent on the shocking sexual harassment claims against Governor Andrew Cuomo, a hero among liberals. The same networks that praised his “excellency” and gossiped over the single Democrat. 

Woke leftists will always make stupid statements. (Recall how David Letterman claimed the press “educates” and “informs” people.) It’s a fact of life. One can only hope that they're too dumb to understand what they are actually saying, or merely indulging in sarcasm.

The woke “capitalists” at the Nasdaq stock exchange are pushing to force its listed companies to adopt leftist identity politics. And the liberal media are salivating all over it.

Late Monday on ABC, viewers saw the latest instance of a liberal double standard as, if the comment below had been leveled against about a female journalist, politician, or spouse would have fetched wall-to-wall condemnations. On Saturday morning’s Velshi, MSNBC host Ali Velshi insisted that Biden’s administration needs an "all-of-government" solution not just to address COVID and climate, but to address "social inequities." Hannah-Jones spouted woke propaganda by declaring that “in that every aspect of our society we have inequality, racial inequality, gender inequality.”

Resentment is a powerful emotion. It can choke off reason and poison even moments of triumph. And it plays hell with self-awareness -- just look at the November 18th Washington Post “perspective” piece (oh the irony) by Robin Givhan.
