Well that didn’t age well. Over 30 years ago, CBS compared newly independent states in the wake of the collapse of the Soviet Union to annoying brats running away from home. Of course, the bizarre commentary came from the late Andy Rooney. Rooney began, “Who would have thought a year ago that the 15 states in the Soviet Union would decide to split up?” 

Unlike ABC, CBS Mornings on Friday actually called out the Biden administration’s flip flopping over whether Russian sanctions work or don’t. ABC’s Good Morning America, however, pretended like Joe Biden hasn’t repeatedly contradicted his own White House on the issue. 

President Biden flip-flopped during his Thursday press conference in Brussels when he declared that sanctions were never meant to deter Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine despite constant proclamations from the administration to the contrary.
