Over the weekend, Manhattan hosted “World Pride” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Yesterday’s music event served as Pride Month’s swan song, and who better to encapsulate last month’s absurdities than pop ne’er-do-well Madonna?



Pride Month has ended. Big corporations have shed their rainbow skins; the media’s daily celebration of drag queen shenanigans and sexualized children has trickled down to its ordinary amount. But The New York Times managed one last gay huzzah, and it was a shot at the Catholic Church to boot.



Finishing Pride Month Sunday with one last hurrah for the LGBT cause, USA Today sports switched its days-long focus from lesbian soccer player Megan Rapinoe of the U.S. national women's team to a call for more gays in men's golf. The newspaper's website has obsessed on Rapinoe during the ongoing World Cup, but gave prime internet real estate to gay golf writer Eamon Lynch in Sunday's edition.



Radical libs are spectacularly ignorant of Christianity, but this comes as a surprise to no one. To publicize how little they know about the Bible and its contents, George Takei’s website published an article yesterday about a tweet from a Christian girl’s account. The tweet explained that there are some things -- like masturbation and adultery -- that are sins according to traditional Christianity. The responses to the tweet were horrendously vile.



Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar are no strangers to hyperbole and dramatics on The View. After Behar said Trump was on his way to exterminating illegal immigrants last week, Whoopi claimed that Trump was on his way to criminalizing and exterminating gay people on Wednesday’s show.



What is the ideal American family? Is it a loving mother and father with happy children living on their own property with a white picket fence? Nope, according to The Guardian, it’s a gender queer family of clown nuns.



The diversity enforcers at Netflix has decided that viewers haven’t been hammered with enough LGBTQIA+ representation. Apparently, last year’s 53 shows with LGBT characters weren’t enough. To remedy this gross inequity, Netflix signed a major deal with transgender activist Janet Mock yesterday.



There is no doubt that Freeform’s The Fosters spin-off Good Trouble is woke. From gay relationships and pay inequity to the death of a young black man at the hands of a white policeman, Tuesday night's premiere checked all the boxes and announced Season Two is chock-full of wokeness.



Taylor Swift may have stirred up some “Bad Blood” with social justice warriors for not being sufficiently woke in her new pro-LGBT song. On Friday the pop star released the lyric video to the single “You Need to Calm Down” and on Monday she released the official music video which appears to take place in a gay, rainbow-themed trailer park and features dozens of (mostly) LGBT celebrity cameos.



With scenes of rape, incestual sex, decapitations, and child executions, Game of Thrones was considered one of the most graphic shows on TV until its conclusion last month. Yet somehow, HBO’s latest teen drama Euphoria makes Game of Thrones look family-friendly in comparison.The Parents Television Council has issued an urgent warning to parents against the new show, but the media has mostly dismissed the alert, showering the graphic teen-targeted show with praise.



The Nation magazine's firebrand sports editor Dave Zirin has aggressively come to the defense of Megan Rapinoe, a lesbian member of the U.S. national women's soccer team who refused to sing the national anthem before a World Cup game Tuesday. He blasted right-wing "Christianists" who opposed her protest and slammed President Trump and Vice-president Pence for waging an anti-LGBT agenda.
