The "fact checkers" at the Associated Press almost religiously stick to checking the claims of Donald Trump. But they drew widespread attention on Thursday for checking Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg on the coronavirus.Trump has not engaged in "reckless cuts" to the Centers for Disease Control. 

Shortly before President Trump addressed the nation on Wednesday to explain what his administration was doing to prepare for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), ABC’s World News Tonight and the CBS Evening News decided to give a megaphone to Democratic lawmakers so they could suggest the administration wasn’t taking the virus seriously.

On Wednesday afternoon, MSNBC host Ali Velshi talked up the liberal push for a single-payer health insurance system as he discussed the plans proposed by Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, touting the "generous" benefits promised, but not dealing with the down sides like the rationing of health care.

After a 11:00 p.m. Eastern hour Wednesday in which MSNBC couldn’t decide whether to feel pleased or upset with the feisty Democratic presidential debate, Thursday’s midnight Eastern hour took a turn toward concern that millionaire socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) emerged unscathed on what “was a great night for Donald Trump.”

I love that dystopian stories are “in” for young adults right now because, hopefully, they’re taking some of these messages to heart. In spite of all the solidly liberal positions that Democratic politicians adopt in order to win their party's nomination for various offices, CNN host Don Lemon on Monday claimed that the party is actually a "centrist party" as he and liberal contributor Joe Lockhart discussed the popularity of the far-left Bernie Sanders.

On Thursday afternoon, MSNBC host Katy Tur seemed to be misinformed about a recent poll of Iowa Democratic caucus voters which found that most support ending private health insurance as the MSNBC host omitted the word "Democrats" and stated that it was a poll of "Iowa caucus goers" and later simply "Iowans."
