As they’ve done all week, ABC’s Good Morning America spent several reports touting the “impressive” and “passionate” teen gun control activists from Parkland, Florida, who met with President Trump yesterday at the White House and who screeched “murderer” at Florida Senator Marco Rubio and the NRA’s Dana Loesch at CNN’s ruckus, scripted “townhall” last night.

New York Times media reporter Michael Grynbaum smeared conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh as a Florida shooting conspiracist in “Dubious Theories on Shooting In Florida Find an Audience." Grynbaum opportunistically lumped Rush and former congressman Jack Kingston into conspiracists making nutty claims about “false flags” and “crisis actors.”

The second portion of CNN’s town hall/mob promoting gun control on Wednesday night featured Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch and, on cue, it was brutally hostile towards Loesch. Along with repeatedly being heckled by students and other attendees as a “murderer,” Stoneman Douglas student Emma Gonzalez questioned Loesch’s motherhood. 

On Tuesday, CNN's Chris Cuomo retweeted a Monday tweet by Cody Davis, who claimed that "I was able to buy an AR-15 in five minutes," even though "I’m 20 and my ID is expired." The same was true when she hosted the 2:00 p.m. hour of MSNBC Live on Wednesday when the network’s cameras were in Florida Governor Rick Scott’s office documenting anti-gun protestors screaming at the receptionists while he wasn’t there.

Afternoon CNN Newsroom anchor Brooke Baldwin has gained a reputation of being a liberal journalist, but Wednesday saw Baldwin take her activism to another level by brutally harassing Florida Republican State Representative Matt Caldwell for not being willing to “consider” an assault weapons ban.

As members of the news media, the anchors at MSNBC would have you believe that they are but dispassionate observers in all things political. Whether they themselves believe this self-styled characterization is unclear, but their coverage of the anti-gun student protests in Florida has been especially replete with just such disingenuous posturing.
