On Saturday's installment of Velshi on MSNBC, left-wing activist, provocateur, and PoliticsNation host Al Sharpton joined guest host Lindsey Reiser to say that the country is heading back to the days of Jim Crow and to criticize Democrats for not passing Sharpton's partisan wish list.

MTP Daily host Chuck Todd lamented on Thursday that President Biden's legislative agenda appears to be falling apart. In response to that, he plotted strategy with Democratic pollster Cornell Belcher and further lamented that, unlike Mitch McConnell, Democrats don't know how to play hardball.

CNN Newsroom hosts Victor Blackwell and Alisyn Camerota, along with a panel of assorted guests, criticized President Biden from the left on Friday in the aftermath of his Summit for Democracy. They accused him of preaching democracy to the world while not doing enough to protect democracy at home.

On MSNBC’s MTP Daily Thursday afternoon, host Chuck Todd wailed that while President Biden was hosting a virtual global summit on democracy, Republicans were trying to “subvert” democracy in the United States. He also lamented how Democrats haven’t yet federalized and rigged all elections in their favor to combat the supposed “crisis.”

On his Saturday show on MSNBC, Ali Velshi was utterly confused by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's claim that Stacey Abrams' stolen election conspiracy theories are no different than Donald Trump's. After all, voter suppression, unlike fraud, is a legitimate concern.

On her Twitter bio, NBC's Jane Timm describes herself as a "Senior reporter telling stories about voting rights." With such an activist description of herself, it was fitting that she joined Hallie Jackson Reports on MSNBC on Friday to question if corporations care about "voting rights." After all they are still giving money to Republicans.

In the past two weeks, CNN and MSNBC have shown multiple double standards by peddling misinformation about Texas's congressional redistricting plan to accuse Republicans of cutting minority representation in the state while ignoring aggressive gerrymandering by Illinois Democrats. Republicans in Texas are doing what might be expected of red state Republicans and that has The 11th Hour's Brian Williams very concerned. On his Friday show on MSNBC, Williams worried that "the Texas brand" will spread to other states, just like Jim Crow did.

At the blog Legal Insurrection, Stacey Matthews picked on PolitiFact for its incredibly lame Twitter criticism of Sen. Charles Grassley at a Wednesday Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on H.R. 4, which Democrats call the "John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act." The senator accurately noted polls show a strong majority of Americans favor voter ID laws.

The Dispatch actually tried to pass off a George Soros-funded group attacking The American Conservative Union as “nonpartisan.”

CNN celebrated a liberal law professor in a congressional hearing yesterday telling Senator Ted Cruz that Texas’s voter ID law was “racist.” 

Climate activist James Murdoch gave at least $1 million to a group fighting to undermine state oversight of elections. That same group also backed Big Tech censorship against former President Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, the left-wing hosts of CBS This Morning all radically advocated that convicted felons should have the right to vote, claiming that anyone losing that right as punishment for their crimes was “ridiculous,” “mind-boggling,” and “wrong.” They predictably suggested racism was the motivation for the legal restriction.
