El Paso/Dayton shootings

It is par for the course to hear demands of gun control from the media in the aftermath coverage of a mass shooting. The leftist brigade of late night hosts’ stood in solidarity Monday night in their opposition to the Second Amendment and calls for stricter gun laws.

A BBC article published on Monday, in the wake of recent mass shootings, included a graphic that contained blatant lies about the fire rates of different types of firearms. BBC later removed the graphic from the article, but they provided no editor’s note in the article and failed to announce the correction on Twitter.

The New York Times went to press for Tuesday’s print edition with the banner headline “Trump Urges Unity Vs. Racism.” But that accurate summation of what President Trump said about the mass murders in El Paso and Dayton did not please the left on Twitter, which demanded “context” about Trump actually being a racist demagogue. After every mass shooting, the liberal media show that their priority is not preventing future atrocities, but gaslighting a left-wing agenda on guns. They also demonstrate their supreme lack of knowledge of basic facts about guns. On a Tuesday edition of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Washington Post associate editor Eugene Robinson pushed a bunch of common leftist falsehoods about firearms.

One unfortunate result of the past few violent days is trying to decide who’s to blame for all the gun-related deaths and injuries that occurred in Texas, Ohio and Illinois. A particularly nasty clash involved Joe Scarborough, co-host of the Morning Joe weekday program on MSNBC, and Dana Loesch, a former spokeswoman for the National Rifle Association.

Mika Brzezinski has taken to an ugly new level the liberal media's accusations against President Trump in the wake of the weekend's mass shootings. On today's Morning Joe, Brzezinski actually accused the President of wanting such mass murders to happen: "Isn’t it okay to deduce that at this point this is what he wants? . . . Disgraced former news anchor Dan Rather has been enjoying a lengthy comeback with the liberal media propping him up for being an outspoken member of the anti-Trump resistance. He was welcomed by race-baiting CNN host Don Lemon on CNN Tonight Monday, to explain why the press needed to stop quoting the President, and instead, psychoanalyze what he says.

Despite President Trump’s full-throated denunciation of racism and white supremacy on Monday, NBC Nightly News was determined to place the weekend’s mass shootings at his feet. The network went to such extreme lengths for their narrative that they flew chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel all the way out to somewhere in Germany to give neo-Nazis a platform.

Scoring five goals in one game can give a pro soccer player an inflated sense of self importance on matters of public policy. Philadelphia Union winger Alejandro Bedoya got so full of himself on his huge day Sunday in D.C., that he dictated a gun control demand to Congress. USA Today's For The Win sports blog denied it was a call for gun control and labeled it "patriotism at its best."

CBS Evening News used its B-block on Monday to speak with members of March for Our Lives, the radically anti-gun group that was founded by high school students after the shooting in Parkland, Florida. Together, the students and CBS reporter Adriana Diaz whined about the lack of progress on their efforts to push gun control.

On Monday’s At This Hour, CNN invited on Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action, to push gun control in the wake of this weekend’s mass shootings. The network also portrayed Republicans as cowardly for failing to come on CNN and be yelled at.

The victims of the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings were set to become the next soapbox for CNN to stand on and shout at Second Amendment supporting Americans. On Monday, CNN announced they will host yet another anti-gun town hall on Wednesday to emotionally exploit grieving families.
