MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews is notorious for saying stupid things, but salty language is not usually associated with him. While trashing President Trump and his criticism of President Obama, Matthews whined to his panelists that all Trump does is “bitch, bitch.”

Thursday at NewsBusters, I noted that all of the major-media "fact-checking" efforts recognized by Duke University's ReportersLab.org website lean left, and that almost all of them are quite decidedly on the left. That only begins to explain how the "fact-checkers" are distorting the news landscape.

Congress is in recess, so the liberal media were bound to do their best to continue to promote disruptive, far-left attendees of Republican town halls. On Friday, CBS Evening News gave those activists a boost, touting them as the “Voice of America.” Worse yet, the two-minute-and-14-second segment only allowed 15 seconds for one conservative calmly raising concerns with an elected Democrat.

Washington Post film critic Ann Hornaday penned a column for Friday’s paper reviewing President Trump’s first 100 days as if it were a movie, blasting him as dangerous for using friendly outlets to distract from his administration lacking any “core, coherent polic[ies]” that could end in “a train wreck.”

CNN’s Jim Acosta has become a prominent media figure thanks to the presidential campaign and is frequently blogged on NewsBusters. On Wednesday at Washington D.C.’s The Newseum, Acosta was unhinged, ruling it’s un-American to harshly criticize the media and apocalyptically spoke of Trump eradicating the media.

Speaking to a packed audience at Washington’s The Newseum, Washington Post reporter and new Pulitzer Prize winner David Fahrenthold proclaimed that the Trump era has yielded “a time of extraordinary power for the media in Washington and that — I mean that, power.”

Now that Facebook and more recently Google have designated it as one of several approved "fake news" identifiers, the profile of Snopes.com, a website which has been using “fact-checking” as a shield to advance a left-supporting, right-bashing agenda for over two decades, has risen.
