After two pretty straightforward, non-controversial episodes, the third episode of ABC’s Designated Survivor’s second season suddenly packed three episodes worth of liberal politics into one. Wednesday’s episode “Outbreak” had everything, from a deadly superbug, to an evil pharmaceutical company, to a Confederate statue debate, to a “sexually ambiguous” frog.

Last week Stephen Paddock killed at least 59 Las Vegas concert-goers using automatic weapons. Reportedly aided by “bump stocks” that made his semi-automatic rifles into automatic weapons, his killing spree was the worst in U.S. history.  

If, like me, you were a fan of the 1980’s pop culture iconic television show, Dynasty, no doubt you were looking forward to the premiere of the reboot on CW Wednesday night. The episode titled “I Hardly Recognized You” that aired on October 11th was properly named, if you ask me. Some parts of the show are now hardly recognizable.

Tuesday’s episode of FX’s American Horror Story: Cult tried to make a statement on guns in an odd way. The episode titled “Mid-Western Assassin” opens with a mass shooting at a campaign rally, but in the wake of the Las Vegas shootings, the scene was re-edited for broadcast.

The CW’s new military drama Valor premiered on Monday night and I was expecting the worst. Not only is The CW the home to many outspokenly liberal programs, but the main character is supposed to be the first female helicopter pilot in an Army special operations unit. That’s just a recipe for virtue signaling disaster.

When it comes to HBO’s The Deuce, the only surprise is how much lower they're able to go week after week. On a show which has yet to feature an episode without aggressive nudity, it can be a hard border to cross, but here we are. The latest episode reaches their new peak of depravity by featuring a three-way homosexual make-out session, along with some questionable underage activity.

On September 29, New York Times art critic Holland Cotter championed an exhibit of “queer” and trans art under the headline “When It Comes to Gender, Let Confusion Reign." The exhibit at the New Museum in Manhattan is titled “Trigger: Gender as a Tool and a Weapon.” Cotter cheered breaking down "the binary male-female face-off" and stretching "the perimeters of gender to the snapping point."

After a decade-long hiatus, Will & Grace returned to television last week to completely embarrass itself by putting a political agenda ahead of decent writing. When it comes to the follow-up, the October 10 episode "Who's Your Daddy," all I can say is that it's not as bad.

The Magic School Bus is back in the new Netflix series The Magic School Bus Rides Again! Overall, it's still a nice, fun 13-episode series like we remember from when we were kids, but with some left turns. There is a pretty predictable take on climate change propaganda for little kids, but that wasn't the worst. That dubious honor goes to the episode that teaches kids that a monster will eat them…

Right on cue for Columbus Day, the statue of Christopher Columbus in Columbus Circle in Manhattan is getting round-the-clock guards to ward off vandals, and USA Today’s Josh Hafner wants to know “As Confederate statues come down, what about Columbus?”

As we approach Columbus Day, the far left has been pushing a nationwide campaign to smear, tear down and ultimately erase the memory of the man who introduced the Americas to the rest of the world.
