In Rolling Stone magazine, writer Matt Taibbi gave a surprisingly sober (if socialist) review of a new book written by reporters Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes that provided a detailed inside look at the failed Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential run.  

After spending months trying to get Trump voters to express regret for their support of the President, on Thursday, NBC News political analyst Nicolle Wallace took to the Today show to eagerly announce that she finally found a regretful supporter. He turned out to a liberal millennial who backed Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary before voting for Donald Trump in the general election.

Appearing on BuzzFeed News editor-in-chief Ben Smith’s podcast released Wednesday, CNN’s Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter covered a number of topics, including the touting of his gooey Washington Post profile, knocking Trump rallies as “poison,” denying that he’s been “freaked out” over this Trump era, and the admirable joy he has for becoming a father.

Media bias…is not a new thing.  One of Rage Against the Machine’s big hits was “Bulls on Parade.”  Were anyone to pen a tune about the media -- “Lemmings on Parade” as a title would eminently work. 

In a book review for Sunday’s print edition The Washington Post, The Atlantic’s Emma Green tore into Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) new book This Is Our Fight for neglecting to grapple with the Democratic Party’s many issues following its 2016 election debacle and failing to understand why blue collar Americans backed President Trump.

The journalists on CBS This Morning, Monday, goaded John Kasich to attack Donald Trump, lauding the moderate Republican governor. Democratic donor Gayle King, who vacations with Barack Obama, lobbed this softball: “You believe that historians will scratch their heads and look at this election as a tipping point. What will they see?”

On Monday, MSNBC decided to mark President Trump’s first 100 days in office by conducting panel discussion with left-wing celebrities, activists, and politicians in which they all shared how disgusted they were with the new administration. Correspondent Chris Jansing led the group therapy session and proclaimed that “Donald Trump has lit a fire under the Democratic base.”

Just as the news media missed the boat in predicting the outcome of the 2016 election, their behavior in 2017 have shown they’ve learned absolutely nothing. On Monday’s Morning Joe, the MSNBC panel was flabbergasted that the new ABC News/Washington Post poll found only two percent of President Trump’s voters regret voting for him.

On Monday’s NBC Today, while reporting on the results of the first round of France’s presidential election, Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel made no secret of his distaste for one of the candidates as he accused her of running a “xenophobic” campaign that she was “modeling” on Donald Trump.

Amanda Taub’s “Interpreter” piece on the upcoming election in France, in Friday’s New York Times was snottily headlined “A Small French Town Infused With Us-vs.-Them Politics.” That town, Frejus, was no doubt also infused with current events, as suggested by the Times’ own lead story on Friday: “Gunman In Paris Shoots Officer; Terrorism Seen.” Taub managed to completely ignore that issue in favor…

USA Today correspondent Heidi Przybyla continued the liberal spin about the Georgia congressional special election into Friday’s print edition, still emphasizing that the non-win by Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff represented doom for Republicans in the form of losing the House in the 2018 midterms.
