During CNN’s election night coverage Tuesday, sparks flew when CNN commentator and NewsBusters contributor Jeffery Lord sparred with Paul Begala the head of the Pro-Hillary Clinton Super PAC Priorities USA. Begala was defending a deceptive ad his organization produced in 2012 that claimed Governor Mitt Romney killed a steel worker’s wife by canceling his healthcare coverage. 

In the early stages of Tuesday’s primary results coverage, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd repeatedly declared on NBC and MSNBC that the outcome of the Acela Primary marked “the beginning of the end of this primary battle” and a near fatal blow to the Stop Trump movement leading to Trump legitimizing his status as the party’s nominee.

On Tuesday the New York attorney general announced that the class action lawsuit accusing Donald Trump of fraud, for his failed Trump University, will be going to trial. Former Bill Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday urged Bernie Sanders to swear “unconditional support” to Hillary Clinton. The Good Morning America co-host played a video clip of the Democratic front-runner and then demanded, “Are you prepared to give her your unconditional support if she gets the delegates?”
