Latino Nets Warn of ‘Terrifying’ Trump-Triggered Economic Crisis

Now that Mueller and the dossier are ancient (buried) news, the liberal Spanish-speaking media will jump at any chance (asides from its non-stop illegal immigration litany) to declare doomsday for President Trump and his Administration. Case in point: the possibility, according to Univision, CNN en Español and Estrella TV, of an economic recession that could put an end to Trump’s claim to credit for the current economic boom.

Take a look at the prophets of mass-misery at Hispanic national media, as they had their field day planting fear among their audiences:

JORGE RAMOS, ANCHOR, UNIVISION: Speaking about the economy, the rumors that the country could face an economic recession caused Wall Street to close today with heavy losses.

(....)

IONE MOLINARES, ANCHOR, CNN EN ESPAÑOL: Today in Direct USA, the markets plummet before strong signals that the country could enter an economic recession.

(....)

ADRIANA YAÑEZ, ANCHOR, ESTRELLA TV: The trade war with China has the United States on the brink of a possible recession. The fear is evident in the financial sector where they expect the worst.

Never mind that Hispanics are now enjoying the lowest unemployment rate EVER recorded, with more working regular jobs since the Labor Department started collecting this data in 1973. The agenda calls for doom and gloom.

In an added dramatic twist, all three national Hispanic news networks covered the Dow Jones loss of 800 points as a sure indicator of Trump´s “disaster”. Telemundo, however, skipped that issue.

At Univision, anchor Jorge Ramos opened the segment on the economy with an on-screen chyron that read “Fear of a Recession”, while stating that the country could face an economic recession. At CNN en Español, Ione Molinares, anchor for the Directo USA newscast, said that there were strong signs that the country could enter an economic recession, and at Estrella TV, being Estrella TV, Adriana Yañez announced, with her usual theatricality, that the United States is on the brink of a possible recession that has financial sector expecting the worst, as the on-screen chyron blazed “Threat of a crisis.”

The “economic meltdown” angle was not unique to Hispanic media, as Newbusters reported on the mainstream media's coverage. But, as hard as it is for them to concede to a positive achievement by the current administration, even left-wing Vox had to admit that “Even though certain factors signal a recession might be coming, that doesn’t mean it’s a foregone conclusion — the stock market got extra rocky at the end of 2018, partly because of fears of a recession, and here we are more than six months later and it hasn’t happened yet.”

Take heed, Latino nets.
