March For Life 2024 Theme: ‘With Every Woman For Every Child’

Every year since 1974, pro-life advocates have gathered to spread a message of hope and life for innocent babies at risk of abortion and to help change the narrative in support of life. This year’s theme, which was announced on November 14, will be “With Every Woman, For Every Child.”

The March for Life 2024 will be held on January 19 and is the second annual event since Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022. This year focuses on supporting both babies and their moms, since the left has a tendency to falsely claim that pro-lifers only care about babies.

As a way to prove that isn’t true, the March for Life organizers are sharing the message that “to be pro-life means to be with every woman, for every child,” the group wrote on its Twitter Tuesday.

Amid the news, the same account shared a sentimental video in which women received positive pregnancy test results and considered abortion. The video also showed sonograms, people celebrating moms, and moms meeting their babies for the first time. It was a lovely homage to the message that March For Life is trying especially hard to share this year: that moms are the focus of the pro-life movement, just as their babies are.

Pro-life means that you're with every woman, for every child. 🤍

Pro-life is pro-woman and pro-child.

You can't have one without the other.

The March for Life organization held an event Tuesday morning to launch the theme for 2024. The event featured three impactful voices to emphasize the theme through their own testimonials.

Executive Director of Branches Pregnancy Jean Marie Davis spoke about her story of “escaping sex trafficking, choosing life, and working tirelessly to help other women do the same through her work,” March for Life employee Catherine Olohan tweeted from the event.

Olohan also tweeted that Mississippi Deputy Attorney General Whitney Lipscomb spoke about Mississippi’s MAMA program, “a vast network of resources and support for mothers, both before and after birth.”

John Bruchalski, a former abortionist, also spoke at the theme launch event. According to the Daily Caller’s Mary Margret Olohan, Bruchalski “accidentally delivered a baby alive during an attempted late term abortion,” which changed his life. His testimony, along with Davis’ and Lipscomb's, provided key testimonials for why we should not only be pro-life for babies, but should also come alongside mothers as well. Their experiences helped shape the theme for 2024.

March for Life also announced pro-life advocate Greg Laurie as a speaker for the 2024 march and musical artist Danny Gokey to lead attendees in worship during the Friday morning event. March for Life also announced that former NFL football player-turned-author Benjamin Watson will be speaking at the Rose Dinner, a gala following the March for Life.

The 2024 March for Life event has the ability to set the tone for voters heading to the ballots in November 2024. This theme shows society what the pro-life movement is about, and as Jeanie Mancini, president of March for Life, said at the launch event, “It’s really what we need to celebrate and remember right now in the pro-life movement.”
